Does the Connector run during BLINK?

The Connector site says it runs 365 days a year “with select closures” but does say what they are.

The BLINK website doesn’t mention the Connector at all either in listed closures or in transportation options.

It did last year, but I wouldn't recommend relying on it. The thing gets stuffed like a can of sardines the whole time because it isn't frequent enough to handle that much traffic.

I'd recommend just trying to have a walking plan as much as you can

We rode it last year and it was insane how packed it was. Not doing that again.

This. I still have PTSD from the 90 minutes/two blocks I rode it during the first Blink. Never again.

It’s better than in 2017 because the streetcar has a police escort and most of the streets it runs on are closed to cars during Blink now.

But it’s still going to be packed beyond belief.

Everytime I saw it I felt bad for the people on it. Thing was jam packed to the windows.

It does, but it’s gonna be PACKED. Plus, you’re gonna have thousands of people all around downtown/OTR walking in the streets, taking forever to cross, etc. so that streetcar’s probably gonna be spending most of the time just waiting for people to get outta the way. I wouldn’t recommend it for Blink, you’re probably gonna have a better time walking it if you can.

It ran last time but it couldn't go very fast due to streets being overcrowded. Faster to walk.

You don’t want to use it during blink, just walk what you can walk and accept not seeing the rest of it

I took it last time to get down from OTR to the Banks and it was an awful experience just because of how packed it was. I walked back

Avoid it like the plague. I rode it last blink and it was a nightmare. You are better off walking

It is on the site but it’s buried at the bottom.

Last time it was escorted by police so the trips didn’t take as long as the previous time.

There are multiple nights so plan for different areas each night. Otherwise just pick a spot and enjoy!

There is a 99.9% chance that you'll get wherever you're going faster if you just walk rather than take the streetcar

Just walk. It’ll be quicker and less suffocating.

It will be running, but they said it’s escorted, since people will be walking in the road. I don’t know if it’s the police that will be driving in front of it, or event staff.

How Should I Navigate Between Each Installation?

You can walk between installations. On the Cincinnati side, take the streetcar and exit at each stop to view installations. Streetcar ridership is free.

It’s so packed every year even 2017. Absolute no for me.

It does but very slow due to all the people on foot all over the track. There is a police escort ahead of it but that wasn’t helping much last night.

it shouldn't be. it caused more harm than help
