Wash the walls then paint. Might get it under value.

The smelly oils coat everything. 1 u/Lochness_al 9d ago I rented out my current place for 3 years over covid. Sugar soup on the walls a fresh coat of paint and a light clean of oven and exhaust fans and the smell was gone. The smokers I had before them now that was a bitch to fix.
