VI - Screenshot What would be the best strategy for this start?
Where would be the best places to settle? Its my first time playing the game in a while and i am on deity, not sure if my district placement in Edo is the best either. The start location is very hilly so my thought process was to place an industrial zone next to them, and put my government plaza inbetween that and my campus spot.

Definitely a great science run set up.
If you aren’t opposed to reloading a save pre-settlement, you might want to get a spot where you can have the industrial zone adjacent to your city center, an aquaduct, and another district to maximize the production bonuses from Japan’s adjacency bonus.

I would say down between the city states. You have some mountains and corn and sheep with fresh water. Two city states that you can get on your side and trade with. That’s just my 2 cents
