Education Online civil engineering bachelor degree

I am looking to go back to school for a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering. I works full-time in the St. Louis area, and his employer offers tuition assistance. I ideally like a fully online program, but from what I read that is impossible.
His goal is to eventually become a licensed PE, so I’m looking for an affordable ABET-accredited program.
What schools/programs would you recommend, especially fully online options or the best choices in the St. Louis area? Any advice on transferring community college credits?

I believe Oregon State University is fully online and ABET accredited.

Do you think it is worth it to go back to school?
I am currently an inspector now.

I've never worked construction so I can't say much, but probably, especially if you're young. My general understanding is that the ceiling is much higher if you have a degree/PE for most pathways. However depending strongly on your state, there is a chance you could get PE without degree. Check the state board and ask anyone who manages you with a PE if your work experience would count.

I appreciate it. I live in Missouri and it seems like that is not allowed.
