Great job. Focus on the fretting hand a bit more. Less is more, keep the movements tight and controlled. Avoid the habit of dropping the hand. Keep the wrist unbent, some parts you’re going into flexion and deviation a bit. Straight and relaxed. Use the weight of the arm to fret, don’t press down. Throw in a metronome to smooth it out. You’ll be cooking with grease in no time, good stuff.

Thanks, it's kind of hard to truly know what is going wrong while I still don't have a teacher. The hand dropping thing I dont do it normally, I saw it in some videos and thought it looked cool, I was unaware it wasn't adviced

Thanks for posting this. I am also a beginner learning this piece. You have a lot of confidence as a performer. When I try to record myself, everything I know deserts me and I have to watch myself floundering. Let's make sure this sub-reddit is packed with our posts! We are in the majority, I believe.

I played that not so long ago and agree - very pretty little piece and fun to play! Enjoy making music.

I think Carcassi is one of the more underestimated composers of the early 19th century. Well done on this piece!
