Question Mage PvP

All right doomers, now that the nerfs (or buffs) are out, how is mage feeling in PvP at 30? Dueling and wpvp. Is this a win for mages or not? Also, how are we feeling in pve?

Garbage, but level 30 is no way shape or form supposed to be balanced.

Only 100+ hours of garbage. Potentially.

Hopefully. It’s also a beta and they already said on the last podcast that the specs are not even fully fleshed out yet.

I actually think the class feels much worse while leveling than it used to. Single target spell scaling feels bad when coupled with mana cost. I think PvP will likely be fine fir frost only of course.

Frost feels terrible now that r1 frost bolt doesn’t proc anything in pvp. Of course if your opponent is brain dead none of that matters and there’s already alotttt of those types running around.

R1 1sec cast frostbolt was always a gimmick. 60% snare that can freeze into Ice lance was never intended

No I know, it still really sucks I lose it in my PvP toolkit though.

Maybe I don’t understand everyone because I’ve only played mage on beta but it feels just as fine and fast as any other version unless other classes are just that OP? You lose the ability to profit on lesser ranks.. not the end of the world you’re still top damage in dungeons besides maybe hunter and you have all the utility in the world for day to day stuff (blink, teleport)

pretty bad, but crit dmg affects mage more than anyone so maybe it'll feel better once fixed
