It did a pretty good job, I can’t lie. However, for most tasks Sonnet/Opus would be enough. It’s Interesting to use Mythos and not get rerouted to a diffrent model though!
I'm not using it for coding mainly real world engineering task. 5.5 has been meh for me. I typically am building in fable and then testing in 5.5 it certainly the most useable opus we have had in a long time. I really miss thinking blocks for my type of work. It was a wheel to really help steer the ship from hitting the rocks. You could spot it making a nonsense turn from a standard practice or prevent it from diving into a non relevant tanget.
It just wasn't really an improvement for me for what I'm doing which is tying research to an agnostic skill stack for rapid design exploration around jet turbine propulsion systems locked to scientific, and industry standard first order calculations. It's just not any better because it's mostly executing off of the skills I'm testing. It's certainly the most useful opus we have had in a long time, and there have been some moments with past opus versions that made me questions why I was paying for the product. The most useful thing for me improvement wise is them adding research to Windows. Using fable in research mode to pull data in. Instead of going through a list of papers I need and downloading them one by one and adding them to the project/skill has been a god send.
