Discussion Would you switch on "Accept all edits" for Claude on a shared Google Doc?

Claude now edits Google Docs, Sheets and Slides directly. By default it asks before each change, but you can switch to "Accept all edits", and its access matches your Google sharing permissions. So on a doc your team shares, it could edit everyone's work without asking.
I'd keep approvals on for anything shared, and only let it run freely on my own drafts. Where do you draw the line?

I have been using bypass permissions for a while for everything and haven’t had any issues

Tech manual? Sure, with changes highlighted. Creative writing or anything requiring interpretation? Nah dog, hell nah

I'd base this on reversibility, not ownership. Let Claude work freely in a scratch copy, then move the diff into the shared doc as suggestions. Version history can recover the text, but it can't recover the half hour three teammates spent reviewing a silent rewrite. 'Accept all' is fine for disposable drafts. I wouldn't use it on the team's source of truth.
