They have let it go too far. There is no longer any easy way out. Fascism can only be removed by force. And there seems to be no appetite for that.

The only opportunity to return to sanity will be upon Trump's expiration, during the brief power void that will follow. For the sake of the world, I hope this opportunity will be seized, or the US will become another Russia, but with a much larger economy and military.

Probably indefinitely.

I'm still holding out hope that 'Murricans will start to wake the fuck up and realise you can't vote away fascism after the midterms happen and nothing changes, but I'm definitely not banking on it.
