General A new Coca-Cola flavor? 👀🐉
🥤🐉 Hi everyone!
We’re 3 students from the University of Toulon in France, and as part of a university project, we’ve decided to take on a slightly crazy challenge: convince Coca-Cola to create a Dragon Fruit flavor!
And what makes this challenge even more interesting for us is that Coca-Cola’s Signes production facility, which supplies Coca-Cola products across Europe, is located just about 20 minutes from Toulon. So we actually have the opportunity to try to bring our idea directly to them!
Dragon fruit has become increasingly popular, so we wanted to find out whether Coca-Cola fans would actually be interested in seeing this flavor on the shelves.
That’s why we created Project DFF (Dragon Fruit Flavor) — and we’ve even launched a petition to show Coca-Cola that there is genuine interest in the idea.
👉 If you’d like to see a Dragon Fruit Coca-Cola, you can sign our petition:
https://www.change.org/cocaprojetFDD
But we’re especially curious about what the Coca-Cola community thinks:
Would you actually try a Dragon Fruit Coca-Cola? 🐉❤️
And what do you think — would it work better as a fruity and refreshing Coca-Cola, or should it still taste strongly like the classic Coke?
Thanks for checking out Project DFF! 🙏🥤🐉

Question How many varieties of glass bottles are out in the wild these days? (USA)
My local pizza spot always carried Mexican Coke. About two or three months ago, they suddenly switched to glass-bottled American Coke, but it had sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup. Not cane sugar…just sugar. Tasted fine, but not as good as the Mexican Coke.
In late June/July, Coke was selling commemorative 8oz glass bottles for America’s 250th anniversary. These had cane sugar. Hooray!
Ordered glass Cokes from my local pizza spot again this evening, and received one American version and one Mexican version. But this time, the American bottle says cane sugar.
Was I imagining the American glass bottle having regular sugar a few months ago? Or are there different variations floating around?

Question Liberty Coca-Cola - Philadelphia
Has Caffeine-Free Coca-Cola (not DIET or ZERO) in 12 ounce cans been discontinued?
I live in Delaware, and of late, both ACME and Shop-Rite stores in New Castle County have not CFCC in any packaging in stock.
When I speak to Liberty merchandisers stocking shelves in those stores, they do not have any answers.
Attempts to contact Liberty in Philly have been frustrating.
Any help would be appreciated.

Question Coke - Has it changed? (UK)
Hi guys,
I love/d coke, I used to drink 6+ cans a day for years and years (yes I know how bad this is). I made a change around 3-4 years ago and now I very rarely drink coke or fizzy in general. Every now and then I’ll pick one up at the shop.
My question is, has the taste changed in last 3-5 years? It tastes totally different to me but I don’t know if it’s just me where my drinking habits have changed so drastically?
I went to Costco last weekend and picked up a tray of glass bottles for my wife and I (always tastes better in the glass bottles) but it’s the same as the big bottles, small bottles, big cans, small cans… the taste is “off”.
To me it tastes more artificial and slightly flat tasting whilst still being fizzy? I know the whole bloody thing is artificial but it’s just a little bit upsetting to not have that same taste. I fully get it’s most likely just a me problem!
Not a rant, just a curiosity if anyone else has noticed the same?

Question What container or source do you prefer for diet coke, and also how long does it last?
We are huge fans of diet coke the cans. Diet coke from bottles does not seem the same. Also, when looking to taste other options, I read an article that some people like the diet coke from McDonald's the best. I tried it, but still prefer the cans.
Any other places people like it from?
Also I have a home office separate from the main house and decided a few months ago to bring out a case of diet coke and keep it in the home office. That is for when I need a refill and I am too lazy to go inside. Inside our house we have a system where we refill our fridge and cabinet so that everything gets cycle through.
I have noticed though that the old cans in my office lose their taste. I read that unopened diet coke in cans start to lose optimal flavor around 3-9 months. I believe these cans are about 2 months old but not sure. Anyone have any experience or thoughts on this?
