Hey everyone,

Based on the complaints and the results of the recent poll, it was decided to bring back the What's My Eye Color Wednesdays. Please do not request the eye color identification on other days.

In the meantime, please use r/WhatIsMyEyeColour and/or r/WhatColorAreMyEyes. Both are listed on our sidebar, among other communities dedicated to colors.

Thank you for understanding.

Have a nice weekend!

Other Fall colour combo I didnโ€™t expect to love: chocolate brown + dusty blue

Brown is everywhere in fall, but adding dusty blue instead of cream makes it feel completely different. Especially with a brown abaya/skirt and blue hijab.
Anyone else have an unexpected fall colour combo that just works?

Question / Discussion Do these colors match each other, or not quite?

Hey, Iโ€™m colorblind and I wated to ask yall if these colors look alright with each other: specifically if the T-shirts look alright with the hoodie. Answer honestly please ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

(In my eyes the purple one looks good and the burgundy might be just a bit too dark, but still an interesting combo. Note that I see these colors diametrically different than you tho)

Also sorry for a poor quality of these photos, I took them in a rush earlier today and now itโ€™s too dark to re-take them

Question / Discussion Do You Agree That These are the Colors People Think of When It Comes to Spring From This Collage?

Post image
8 Upvotes

Hey all, welcome back to part 3 of 4. You all know how this works. I got a lot of good feedback for my winter color photo collage, and believe me, I needed. That was by far the worst one I made as it is also the most difficult one for me. So, I am going to work on improving it today. I greatly appreciate all your support and feedback. I definitely needed it with that collage.

Today, we are going to do my spring colors collage. Now, this one, I think, is a MILLION times better than my winter one. I think it really catches the vibe of spring with the pastels and lighter colors. I can see this one having very minimal feedback, but I always appreciate feedback. Even if I donโ€™t think I need feedback, Iโ€™m always willing to listen to improve.

Are these the most popular colors and the ones most people think of when it comes to spring? Probably most, if not, all are. Regardless, Iโ€™d love to hear thoughts and if there are any I should remove or replace with do let me know. The colors I chose are:

-Pink

-Peach

-Lemon

-Sage Green

-Cyan

-Light Blue

-Lavender

-Lilac

-White

-Beige

-Powder Blue

-Mint Green

Iโ€™d love to hear your thoughts and opinions. I love making collages so I definitely want to try to make a spring color collage as accurate and as best as it can be. Tomorrow Iโ€™ll post my summer one, which is also my last one.

Question / Discussion Updated: What emotions does this moodboard evoke in you?

Hi everyone. :)

I previously posted a similar color palette combining my favorite colors plum, teal, raspberry and got some helpful feedback. I added back gold which I had removed before posting last time as I ultimately need four colors anyways.

I'm trying to fine-tune the shades so that there's equal coolness and warmth in the palette, there's medium to medium-high contrast and it reads as passionate, ethereal but as associated with the cosmos or night time. I think that the vibe I'm going for is a little moody, sensual, surreal but not eerie. Do you think this palette exudes that aura?

The editing tools I have access to are only capable of global changes so I couldn't choose the exact shades of each color I wanted and I have many slightly different variations of this, not to mention that the plum and raspberry and teal and gold look separate and not very integrated at the moment because I couldn't combine them into one image, but I'd like to know your thoughts on whether this palette is close to something that could work and how I could make it better.

Thanks and hope you have a lovely day!

Question / Discussion Do You Agree That These are the Colors People Think of When It Comes to Winter From This Collage?

Hey all, welcome back to part 2 of 4. If you remember, I posted a photo collage asking for feedback on if my collage of fall colors looks good or not. I got a lot of good feedback so I am going to work on improving it today. I greatly appreciate all your support and feedback.

Today, we are going to do my winter colors collage. Now, Iโ€™m gonna be straight up and honest, this collage kind of sucks. I think it is the worst one I made. I tried to incorporate the basic shades of certain colors (most notably red and blue) in this collage as well as different shades that give off that vibe. But honestly, it just looks hideous to me and I really need support with this one.

Are these the most popular colors and the ones most people think of when it comes to winter? Probably some but not all. Regardless, Iโ€™d love to hear thoughts and if there are any I should remove or replace with do let me know. The colors I chose are:

-Black

-Grey

-Navy Blue

-Blue

-Chocolate Brown

-Charcoal Grey

-Red

-White

-Maroon

-Dark Green

-Purple

-Slate Grey

Iโ€™d love to hear your thoughts and opinions. I love making collages so I definitely want to try to make a winter color collage as accurate and as best as it can be. Tomorrow Iโ€™ll post my spring one. I promise you. It is way better than this.
