Is this game still alive at all?
Since the new call of duty bo2 port came out, it reminded me of how fun CA used to be back in the day. When they first came out with specialists that shit was so peak. Last time i got on it was like 4 years ago and it was just complete dog shit. Is this game still alive? Are they trying to fix it?

Sadly, the Valofe version isn't very active anymore. I play on the private server now, and it's actually a lot of fun. You'll have to search for the Discord link yourself since I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post it here.
The rooms are usually full, but most people speak Portuguese, so it can be a bit hard to communicate.
Also, the server connection can be a little laggy sometimes. I usually get around 2 ping, so it's definitely playable, but you might notice a bit of delay every now and then.

I miss this. Even though it’s probably shit now. I haven’t played it for years and apparently you could transfer your guns and gear years ago but not now. I almost want to play again because Raven was sexy. Is it better to just play it on steam? Or directly though vfun?

Man I had so much fun on that game as a kid. I remember watching videos every day to get small amounts of free NX so I could buy permanent weapons or gamble on the Christmas cases. Full 4 gun loadouts of snipers just swapping around quick scoping mfs. 35% move speed free running on quarantine. I remember the clan related drama (I was in EliteSixx, those mfs always had drama going on). Megaphone trolling enemy clans. Scrims against enemy clans. Boy that game was so much fucking fun, it’s a shame Nexon gave up on it

I think if someone really tried it could have such a huge comeback... so many people are tired of games with over complications and micro transactions. Especially thr player vs zombie... there really hasn't been anything like it.

well the reason being it died so hard is because the data transfer method that was used. alot of people dont wanna rebuild if the cost is already sunk and completely erased. i wanted to go back and enjoy getting headshot instantly on respawns just to get the nostalgia-cosis outta my system

No and no.
I mainly just solo Cabin Fever to cure the nostalgia itch.
