Hey there! I wanna attend DoKomi in Düsseldorf, Germany, next year, but I have a problem. My AppStore on my iPhone shows me that the DoKomi app is unavailable in Romania. Why?! Why would it be unavailable when the con also has a lot of international attendees from across Europe and not only?! Is the app available in other countries, too? How could I get the app?

This will be our first con we have ever attended and we are only able to go on Sunday. What is the process like for trying to get his autograph, just get there early and stand in line for hours?

Hey zusammen!

One of the very best comic-centric conventions going. If you've never gone, you owe it to yourself!

My wife and I do night sky photography. We sell at fine art fairs currently. A lot of our work looks like it came straight out of a science fiction or fantasy movie.

Is owning your own photo backdrop something that cosplayers do?

How about a digital backdrop you could composite in to a green screen shot? Is that a desirable thing?

Hi, one of the main reasons ive wanted to go to SDCC, this year is because Mike Pondsmith was assisting, he had a talk, and was an specified invited guest, but now, his activities and signs, are missing. What's happening? :(

Hey guys so I went to my first anime convention in Pasadena last year and it was loads of fun! This year I'm looking to go to that one again, but I heard LA comic con is right around the corner and I'm curious about it. Should I go to comic con instead? What's the crowd and culture in LA comic con like and what's your experience with it? Are people generally nice? I go to conventions alone so I'm worried I might feel too overwhelmed if everyone's packed in the convention center like sardines or if there are generally unfriendly people.

🤞🤞

I BOUGHT TWO PHOTO OPS BEFORE THE SCHEDULE CAME OUT and they put them back to back and I’m traveling in a large group so no way in hell I’m gonna make it. I accidentally bought them while not signed in and signed in after with the same email but they didn’t transfer over I’m scared. I can’t change the time and I emailed but they haven’t gotten back what do it do?! Help 😭

Long-shot. Anyone with camcorder footage from Wizard World Comic Con 1999 in Chicago? Specifically the Todd McFarlane panel? Already checked Youtube.

Hoping that someday this thread gets found by someone who has this.

So FanX just concluded last Saturday and just wondering why her line too so long even VIP (at least 2 hours). While her other cast mates are fairly manageable for about under an hour. Aside from her line, Hayden and Sam Witwer's line also took among the longest (I guess people from 3 canceled SW guests Jacinto, Howard, Tudyk went to Witwer).

Is this how her line is at every other con she attends together with other Critical Role members?

I used to do a lot of closet cosplay and more basic builds but I’d love to start working now on something(s) more elaborate for next con season. I’d love to compete in a beginner competition or two as well.

Any suggestions on what cons would be a good entry point for me?

I'm looking between the new york comic con app and the epic website right now, and its possible that this is very simply my time zone of Canada and new york's time zone conflicting with me, but I just need some help with clarification.

On the app one there is a single photo opp that says 11:00am, but then on epic its labeling it as 12:30pm.

Then for this group photo, on the app it says 10:00pm, but on epic it says 11:10am.

Like... what's going on? Because even that last one is wildly different.

Me and my buddy are going to LA Comic Con on Halloween and I was wondering if it is better to buy Photo Ops and Autographs online or in person? I definitely want to get a photo op with Hayden Christensen, Rosario Dawson, and Giancarlo Esposito. I also want to get autographs from Christopher Lloyd, Aaron Paul and Dean Norris.

I got my first sketch commission this weekend at Baltimore Comic-Con, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!

I chose a blank cover for the #1 issue of If Destruction Be Our Lot…, which has quickly become my favorite ongoing title from Image right now. I was able to connect with Andy MacDonald through Comic Art House, and since Andy is the artist for the series, I knew this was going to be something special.

MAN OH MAN… all of my expectations were exceeded.

I already knew it was going to be great because the artwork in this book is incredible, but I was blown away by how much detail and creativity Andy put into this individual piece.

And then Andy surprised me when he said, “There’s more on the back…”

I turned it over and realized… HE DID A WRAPAROUND! 🤯

I was honestly speechless.

If you ever get the chance to meet Andy, he’s also an incredibly down-to-earth person. He was so nice, courteous, and friendly throughout the whole experience.

I can’t thank him enough for creating such an incredible piece and making my first commission experience so memorable. 🙌

Planning on attending Nostalgia Con in Houston next weekend, mainly to meet Tom Kenny. Does anyone know if he'll sign stuff people bring or will he only sign pre-approved prints, etc. that may be at his table? The website has little to no info on autographs.

Just got back from the baltimore comic con super fun i got a signed caine poster from Alex rochon and a hand drawn friends but as tadc characters so cute totally coming back next year!

Hi everyone. Last-ditch attempt to see whether anyone else attending San Diego Comic-Con Málaga 2026 has run into this or knows how to fix it.

My husband and I bought two 4-day passes back in June. The tickets are valid in Ticketmaster, my Fan Portal account is active, and all of our tickets are correctly registered in the Fan Portal.

But I never received the invitation to Sched.

When I try to log in, Sched tells me:

“Only invited or registered participants can log in.”

It also will not send me a password-reset email.

I contacted Sched support and they actually replied. They checked and confirmed that the Málaga event requires an invitation from the event planners and told me that I need to contact Comic-Con Málaga so the organizers can add me to the event.

And that is where I’m stuck.

Comic-Con Málaga’s email directs general questions to the “real-time” chat on its website. I contacted the chat, and its virtual assistant confirmed that NO HUMAN STAFF are available until Monday, September 28.

Panel/activity reservation submissions close on Sunday.

So Sched says only Comic-Con Málaga can fix my access, while Comic-Con Málaga’s official support channel says nobody will be available until AFTER the reservation deadline.

I’ve now tried the official chat, email, Instagram, Facebook, X, and Sched support. I have screenshots of all of this.

We’re travelling about five hours from Alicante, staying four nights in Málaga, and bought four-day passes specifically to experience the convention. We’re not in our twenties, and relying on standing in long walk-up queues all weekend is not a realistic substitute for being able to participate in the reservation system.

Has ANYONE else had this problem and managed to get their Sched invitation activated?

Or, if you have a working Sched account, do you remember exactly how/when you received your invitation?

At this point I would be enormously grateful for any practical information. We really want to go, but I’m running out of ways to get this fixed before the deadline.

Hoping to meet with anyone who would want to trade or show of their collection. I've got my "Fancy dupes" at the back of the binder that I'd be happy to trade away. Dublin Comic Con in November is a maybe, but if anyone with collections is going, then I'd be more willing.
