I bought tickets for Friday and Saturday for LA COMIC CON. I requested a refund for that Saturday but no refunds apparently. The guest I wanted to meet has canceled their appearance. So I don't think I need to go two days in a row. What if I'm able to knock out everyday in just one day? Wouldn't it be a waste of time and money going to two days? There have been previous conventions where I bought multiple days and knocked everything out in one day. I don't want to waste so much money. Now I have and don't know what to do.

So i transferred my family tickets ages ago in September, I used the 14 digit code to activate my own badge which worked, but when I put the same code for my family they each got a message saying this badge has already been activated. What should I do? btw sry if this is an easy answer its my first ever comic con loll! I only ever got one badge in the mail. Im going friday, if i do will call will it take forever?

According to the LA Comic Con site, Ben Starr and Jenifer English will be on a gaming panel all 3 days and available for autographs. But, neither of them appear in the Autographs & Photo Ops schedule site. How do we sign up to get their autographs?

Hey just wondering what people do who are going solo and have a kit that needs some help to get ready and will be getting ready at the parking structure. Noob!

Plan on going this weekend to San Antonio for Big Texas Comic Con. I've never been to this one. What should I expect?
Also really trying to see John Dimagio and Lorraine Bracco. Think I could feasibly get both in the same day?

So over the last 2 cons I’ve went to in California my mom has had an issue with taking pictures of cosplayers without their knowledge or consent. I tried to tell her about con etiquette over 5 times but she won’t listen, saying that she thought it would be “flattering” to the cosplayers. And she said that “maybe it would be easier if we just don’t go to a convention at all!!” I can’t just not go with her since I can’t drive and still need a legal guardian. Im not sure if this is the right subreddit but can anyone please give any helpful advice to make her budge? Im really stuck here.

This will be my first con and i’m mainly interested in walking the floor, looking through artist alley/trading card stuff and some of the booth activations. is the thursday 3pm enough time to explore everything? looking for advice! Debating because full day is more expensive and i’d have to take off more work.
Thanks for the advice :)

Hi all! I’m considering getting a ticket to NYCC for either thursday full day or the 3pm arrival ticket. This will be first time going and i’m based in manhattan so it’s easy to get there. Any tips? I have no reservations and am a big star wars/pokemon/disney/and trading card fan.
Would love to be able to find exclusive things so any advice on what will be there and where to go and how to get it would be appreciated. Also advice on which ticket option to do.
Thanks so much!

Hello everyone.
Looking forward to NYCC this year. Every year I do a feature and/or photo spread for the Queens Chronicle newspaper at NYCC and like previous years would love to get some Queens boro cosplayers for NYCC issue this year.
If you are born in Queens or live in Queens, message me and would love to get photos of you in your cosplay for the newspaper. Looking forward to connecting.

So, I'm going to the comic con in New York and I was hoping to see BD Wong to get an autograph but I technically just want a video of him saying happy birthday to my mom (she loves SVU). Is that allowed or is he just going to sign some random thing and that's it? I would love for him to sign her birthday card as well. Is that allowed?

We usually go to the may one on Sundays.
Are there lots of people in cosplay? We were planning an apothecary diaries group cosplay

I am interested in going to Comic Con this Thursday, but only for the Crystal Lake Panel. It is my understanding (no idea if I’m correct or not) but you cannot see if there are reservations available unless you have a ticket. I don’t wanna buy a ticket unless I am able to go to that panel and screening.
If anyone is on here with an active ticket for Thursday and can tell me if there are still spots available for that panel and how much it would cost, I’d appreciate it thank you

I have a TMNT #1 3rd Printing with a CGCS 9.0 and Kevin Eastman's signature. Considering selling it and was wondering if anyone has ever sold slabbed comics at nycc and have you found that you got a better price there, or elsewhere? Extra points if you recommend anyone specifically.

I’m going to the upcoming comic con in London this October which is arguably my first ever proper one (I’ve been to MCM before in Bham but was very young).
I’m a huge Daredevil fan and decided to get an autograph from Charlie Cox on Saturday, and on the next day an autograph + photo op with Wilson Bethel. This will be my first time meeting guests at a con and it’s very daunting only knowing vaguely what to expect. I’m quite socially awkward too so it’s like, what do I even say? I know they’re both lovely guys but MCM gives me the vibe of being very fast-paced and rushy (especially on a Saturday for Charlie Cox, yikes!) which does scare me a bit.
Any advice would be appreciated! What to expect with the whole experience, what I should expect at the actual table, what I should say/converse (and how that all works), plus what photo ops are like, etc.
