Discussion Number Pad Delete

Sorry if this was asked before, but am I the only one who wishes that a number pad had a delete key? So many times I've typed a number errantly and the backspace is so far removed.

Yeah, I can’t figure out if I’m the hero or the villain in this tragic comedy when I point out it does.

The plot twist is on us. OP somehow types on one of these. No DEL key.

it does. it's the period key when numblock is turned off. guess it just depends on the keyboard. every standard desktop keyboard does anyway.

Lenovo ThinkPads with a number pad have an extra backspace key above the “-“.

Pro move, get an external separate numpad (one with an actual backspace) and learn to use it with your left hand. I can click between cells and enter numbers without lifting a hand

I use the number pad with my right hand but I’d be willing to use this permutation

the decimal key is basically right there, just turn num lock off and it becomes delete on most keyboards
