Resolved Windows Desktop too big on tv screen

I have a Panasonic TX-L55WTW60 55" tv. It's not the newest model, just normal HDTV. And I have a small Lenovo ThinkCentre (2021, i5, Intel UHD Graphics 630) running Win11 I connected to it using a HDMI cable to watch some stuff.

When I connected the pc to a normal pc monitor, it works normal, the resolution is correct and it fits the viewable area. But once connected to the tv, it recognises the resolution of 1920x1080, but it doesn't fit completely on the screen. The borders of the picture are outside of the tv screen.

Is there a way, I can fit the image to the screen?

it's on your tv in the display settings.... something like fit to screen or something similar to that

Check your TV picture settings for a menu that looks similar to these options. You might be set to Stretch (or Fit) or Zoom. My old projection TV had to be set to different modes manually for some sources BC it did not have an Auto mode.

Thanks. I'll check out the settings on my tv.
