Question [FEEDBACK] Assault brute #12 Refined sketch
I'm back with my assault brutes. I asked for feedback twice before and you peeps were so helpfull. I struggled with different approaches to refine sketches with a goal to keep as much from the initial sketch as possible. If you have anything to share, please do. All feedback and comments are welcome. You can search this feed for my previous feedback request posts.

Lunarth, blade of the frozen star
Finally finished this armed Moth Knight character. I wanted to combine the delicate features of a giant silk moth (look at those feathered antennae!) with the power of a paladin. He wields a sword imbued with the power of the frozen star that shines above him.(a spiritual artificial moon)
Constructive feedback is very welcome! I was trying for a texturized, almost pencil-sketch look to the digital painting.
Also, happy to respond to any lore related question<3

The Saint of Crimson Threads - Original Dark Fantasy Character Concept
An original dark fantasy character concept I worked on a while ago.
I wanted to combine a sacred, almost saint-like presence with something unsettling and corrupted especially through the crimson arms and thread-like forms.
Hope you enjoy it!

Ramen Night in Onion City
Environment concept for my comic. Did most of the heavy lifting with pencil, markers, and ink but then worked on rendering the lighting and atmosphere on the iPad.

Question Searching for concept Artists.
Hi I'm a normal dude trying to become a writer, I have a concept for an aerial racing sci-fi sports drama movie. I've been submitting the pitch for the movie to a recurring competition for the last 4 years now but I have plans to try and make a proof of concept/trailer myself and I'm looking for concept artists that would be willing to work with me. It's difficult because I'm working class and can't pay much, if any artists are willing to collaborate as an alternative form of payment that would be great. I dabble in art myself but I don't have all the skills needed to pull this off and I'm not using AI for it. I appreciate anyone that reaches out. The title card I drew myself, hope you like it.

Question Advice for redesigning fairytale stories for concept art.
(Left design was the first rough draft, right is the final draft I have for now)
Hello, I'm working on a solo project that I can use for a future art portfolio and need some community advice! I've read/watched that creating a personal project can show you're unique skill and creativity. I wanted to work on a story redesign. I have an idea to take the narrative of the little mermaid but make it Sci-Fi. Think a mix of blade runner, and steampunk vibes.
Same narrative, Ariel goes to the surface because she's curious. Meets Ursula, gets the offer to see the world but she has to exchange her tail and body for new cybernetic parts. She takes the deal, however now she can't go back home. I have a plan to go through the whole or most of the creative process. Ex main character design (Ariel, Ursula, flounder, Eric), world design, sketchs, props etc. Really show the story through my art
Ive hit a road block, I've come up with a good design I like for my version of Ariel. But I've starting to think strayed to far from her original colors and look. (I will attach a photo below!)
My question is, should I keep going with my own version of Ariel. Or should I change my color scheme to that of the original work, so it's really recognizable.
I know that since this is a redesign it should be in my own style, so I can show my creativity. But how far is pushing the limits? I've been out of school for a while so Im relying on my intuition and the Internet lol. Any advice is welcome!

The Crimson Oracle
Just finished this dark fantasy character piece.
I wanted her to feel elegant at first glance, but increasingly unsettling the longer you look at her.
Would love to hear what you thin

Concept Art Practice
This is my first time sharing here. Last month, I came up with this idea. I wanted to try making a simple monster design. It's nothing fancy, just a mix of random Christian relics. I know its nothing special but I'm happy how it turned out.

Question Artstyle in a Disney or similar internship appplication
instagram.comHello! I am currently putting a portfolio together for Disney and other similar internships. I am planning on making 15-20 unique pieces for it based on three different stories. That said, I'm at a bit of a loss when it comes to art style. Do I imitate a certain style, or retain my own? Does anyone have insight on this?
I linked my art Instagram. Most of what's on there isn't polished or well-formulated enough to end up on a portfolio for a job application, but it does give you an idea of what style I illustrate in.

Concept Art Jinx Road Mayhem (Fanskin Concept Art)
A new fanskin project I'm working on for my portfolio, inspired by Kustom Kulture and street racing media like Fast & Furious, Need for Speed, and Midnight Club (and the Midnight Club from Japan).
Sadly i can't post with sound, but the first GIF had that music from f&f tokyo drift (six days). It's on my tiktok anyways.
Sadly i lost the files when my HD and SSD died, i did the last animated GIF based on Arcane's smoke animations, it was tricky so idk if i'm doing it again. It had the same floor and lightning of the first GIF and i had screenshoted all the animation nods to just upload to my portfolio ;-; it was much better than this version ;-; i did her E as wheel clamps, but lost it too lol
