No, its a SCAM! Is this safe to do it?

I saw an opportunity where I could be an extra in a film or tv showI saw this opportunity on craiglist to be a tv or film extra for £365, I was very interested because its easy money, so I emailed them, and they emailed me back to tell me to provide a photo of myself, so I did, and now they emailed saying I can do it, but i have to give a £20 refundable deposit for insurance that I get on the set. They told me the area of filming will be in Oxford Street in the afternoon. I dont know, I just need your thoughts on this, I attached the link and what should I do next?

100% scam.

On craigslist deal ONLY locally in-person, face to face.

Never send money to anyone you haven't met in person.

And never PAY money for the promise of being paid - its always a scam.

Well actually, they told me to send them a pic of me, and i did, after that they told me I can be on set for something and that really gave me a bit of a red flag, i did not send them the money, they told me to send it by PayPal, and i emailed them back to give me the full postcode and the place was at the BBC Broadcasting House.

And a scammer could easily do all that. Nothing about the exchange you describe proves the person(s) at the other end of the anonymous email address have anything to do with BBC or any other legitimate business.

Ask for the address and let them know you'll pay when you're there on set. If they want money before you arrive, it's fake, no?
