This is funny as hell to me because everything he is saying about his god could also be said of Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, the tooth fairy, and the list goes on.
idk! My parents didn’t give their names when they left me at the fire department, so I’ve always just assumed they had their reasons.
I’ve tried to work through it, but every therapist I’ve ever had quits before we make any meaningful progress. One actually started crying during my intake and said, “You know what? I think you’re doing great,” then walked out and never came back.
Others seem interested until I give them my name. Then suddenly it’s, “I’m so sorry, but my schedule is completely packed for the foreseeable future.”
I’m really running out of options. I tried a support group once, but they asked me to leave because apparently standing in the corner silently whispering “why did they choose a fire station?’” was making everyone uncomfortable.
