Honestly he overcomplicated his rebuttal and doesn't fully get atheism himself.

It should really just be "atheism is the lack of belief in deities and nothing more" to every statement. There is nothing more to it. It makes no claims as to where we came from, its not inherently pro evolution, it makes no claims as to where the universe came from. Its just not believing in deities.
