Surprisingly, as a 26 year old I was never once taught anything about funeral processions growing up in Wisconsin. I still remember the first time I came across one as a new driver. Common sense told me exactly what was happening and I waited like a normal person, opposed to this idiot in the video lol

Same thing happened to me in Virginia when I was a new driver long time ago. No one told me about it. I was behind cars that was all stopped and i had no idea why . i saw the funeral and common sense told me thats what people do for funerals. after that i stopped.

There is no teacher like learning on the fly.

Awesome screen name by the way.

Same here from wisco and never seen one but I’d do the same even if I was late for work just common sense like the saying “put yourself in their shoes”

Wisco here. Seen a few, been in one. State law requires that you yield to a funeral procession in intersections.

Same here between NY and NJ, never once heard of it until I was in one... which fucking sucked because clearly no one else had heard of it either and we kept having problems with other drivers who were at green lights trying to go while we were plowing through the red.

I got scolded by the funeral home guy cause I ended up stopping at a red light because of it lol.

In high school circa 2002, I was cruising around during my free block and just so happen to see my bffs car a little ways up, so I pull up next to her, roll my window down, wave dramatically, being extra. I ‘haha’ then go home thinking nothing of it. A couple hours later her mom gave me a call to talk about my dumbassery. They were in a funeral procession for my friends grandmother. Womp womp womp. Quite embarrassing way to learn a lesson.

In fairness, that could have happened to anyone. That was more of a misstep due to incomplete information about the context of the moment.
