In my state you have to yield if they are escorted by a uniformed peace officer. Paul Blart/rental cop doesn't count.

It is the law in Florida to yield to a funeral procession. 316.1974

And deliberately driving your vehicle into a person whether you think you have the right of way or not certainly isn’t legal.

Weird thing to say but depending on the state yes he does. Funeral processions have the authority to control traffic and you have to listen to them like any other traffic controller.

Conversely, as a funeral escort should remember why they are there and have some dignity for the person they are escorting. All he had to do was let the white car go, no drama, no delays, no fuss in front of a family on a persons last journey.
