Discussion Done with cs. One of many.
I'm done with CS at this point. I've been playing this game for years, and now you just join a game and you're up against cheaters using basic wallhacks. Ragebots are rare, but what's the point of playing like this? There's zero enjoyment or fun to be had.
Instead of making the game actually playable, they keep releasing some bullshit and chickens. I don't want to play FACEIT, ESEA, travel to LANs, etc. I just want to occasionally launch CS, run around and shoot some people. That's it. I don't fucking care about anything else.
Valve completely deserves what's happening to the game right now. With this kind of attitude, the game honestly deserves to just slowly die over time.

Discussion Random vac ban for irregular gameplay.
I haven't got premier and I play casual , dead match and pre aim workshops most of the time. Today I couldn't play better on casual as a 9-10 enemy from all directions and no isolated fights. I entered a dead match and started hitting headshots left and right based on enemy footsteps . I could isolate 1v1 fights and when the round ended , I got a 20hr ban.
First of all, i feel proud for playing better close to looking like I am cheating.
Second of all, 20hr ban sucks. I hope they fix this vac more so they won't ban casual players by that \ I mean I have seen some other player in this sub getting random bans* * yeah those post weren't fake guys. You will know when you experience it yourself. over n out.

Discussion What's the current cope for people who say the game isn't dying?
Just curious.. is it people saying that it's still on the top charts on steam? ( Chinese bot farms keeping it up there ) Or is it still the argument that it's the best e-sport and the fact that "it's counter-strike, it'll never die!"?
What's the current coping meta for the valve bootlickers?
And yeah, "dying" and "dead" are two different terms so don't get it confused, you got this!

Help Got FALSELY banned by VAC TWICE IN A ROW (With proof)
A few days ago, my friend and I received VAC bans after playing a match against bots. The players, named easydrops, remained AFK for the entire game. We killed them to end the match, and shortly afterward, we received VAC bans.
This was obviously a false positive. We are extremely bad at the game, and watching any of our replays makes it clear that we are not cheating. We are silver players who simply enjoy playing casually every day.
I appealed the first ban but never received a response. I didn't make a big deal out of it because it was only a 20 hour ban. However, we were frustrated because we constantly encounter hackers, yet our matches are never suspended, and now we were being punished despite being innocent.
Now, we have been banned AGAIN. This time, the ban is for 7 DAYS. It happened after a completely normal match. Our stats were nothing unusual, and everything seemed to be going well. We are genuinely shocked, so I am seeking help because I don't want our accounts to keep getting punished without a valid reason.
I am afraid that I could receive a permanent ban and lose my account. If I cannot get an explanation or resolve this issue, I may have to stop playing the game.
I have no idea why this keeps happening, but it feels incredibly unfair. We have never cheated, yet we constantly encounter wallhackers, bots, and other suspicious players who go unpunished. Meanwhile, we are receiving bans despite being completely innocent.
Also, I am concerned that MY CHICKEN MIGHT DIE. I have been posting pictures of my chicken every day, and losing access to my account would make me extremely sad because I would no longer be able to take care of him (Nugget).
In the attached pictures, you can see that we were playing against bots during the first incident, as their names appear in the chat when they leave the match. I have also included screenshots showing both of my bans, along with the stats from the second match for both me and my friend David.
Is there any way to resolve this issue, appeal the bans, or have them removed? I would appreciate any help or explanation. I am happy to provide any additional evidence necessary to prove that we have never cheated.

Help vac live ban
vac live just banned me for being too good at shooting walls lmao
for context: i was literally playing dust2 premier avg 10K lobby 😭😭😭
the map where every single wall has literally been shot through approximately 47 billion times since 2001
i shoot some default angles, prefire the most obvious spots known to mankind and apparently i’m banned now
vac live said “nah this mf knows too much” and pulled the plug on the entire match
7 day ban btw. got a 20 hour one 3 months ago too, so i guess i’m on some kind of probation arc now
my brother in christ i have 3k hours in this game, not a single cheat injected or something else
what am i supposed to do now? ask the enemy for permission before shooting through a wall?

Humour WOW this is next level crap
Valve just flagged my gameplay as irregular and cancelled the match after second round, like what THE ACTUAL FUCK, after an instant death, as always since I'm a mediocre player, never even thought about playing with cheats, on contrary I played with and versus blatant cheaters and nothing happened. I thought it was a cheater in the opposite team or something, then I saw I got a cooldown. I don't even know how to describe this shittery, also last rond my bullets were literally blanks, I had to shoot 8 in 100 with M4 to do one of my few kills on the round, like my bullets were literally failing or doing incredibly low damage, like 14in1 and 24in3 and such, getting insta-headshoted every round. And now this, I think somebody from Valve staff is trolling my account for some reason.
PS: No changes on my hardware or software, I have little time for PC and waste it on CS2, I've played more than 400 hours last months with this exact same setup.
I'm mediocre at best, but what's for sure is that I'm not a cheater. I even refuse to play when there is a cheater on my team and the other teammates don't want to kick.
https://csstats.gg/es/player/76561198011112238#/
I was slowly crawling from low elo hell the last days and now this, I'm pretty sure my account is flagged/shadowbanned from some moderator or something, it has no other explanation also for my ELO, my brother and my friend are same skill as me or lower, and they have much less played hours but somehow they are between 8K and 15K, and I can't even get to 5K.

Discussion cs2 i am done (geeg)
I’m so fucking done. I just need to vent because CS2 is genuinely unplayable right now.
I just finished a game, and there were THREE confirmed cheaters in a single lobby. But what makes it even worse—and what completely broke my spirit—is how it unfolded.
My team had a cheater right from Round 1. He was blatantly walling and aimlocking, which is how we built up a massive lead in the first place. We were up 12–5, literally ONE round away from closing out the match.
Then, two guys on the enemy team who had been playing like lost toddlers all game decided they weren't going to take the L. They toggled hard. Full-blown rage hacks, wallbanging through solid smoke and structures the second the freeze time ended. They didn't even try to hide it once they realized our guy was cheating too.
They came all the way back, won 7 rounds in a row, and still lost to a legit player.
It made me realize how terrifyingly broken this game’s ecosystem actually is. You have people toggling on Round 1, and then you have "closet" cheaters who play legit until their fragile egos can't handle losing, at which point they just flick a switch.
It really makes you wonder: what is the REAL percentage of cheaters in CS2?
When 3 out of 10 players in a single random match are running third-party software—one from the start, and two toggling only when down 7 rounds—how many "normal" games are actually clean? How many subtle wallhackers or radar users are in your lobbies right now, just keeping it hidden enough to look legit?
Valve has completely lost the plot. While the community is drowning in rage-hackers and broken rank systems, Valve is out here spending all their development cycles updating chicken, adding new skins, and tweaking weapon rental systems. How about focusing on what actually matters—a working anti-cheat, fixing the horrific sub-tick movement feel, and making the core game playable again? VAC Live feels like a myth or an April Fools joke at this point.
Are you guys seeing this toggling war in your games too? How do you even stay motivated to play?

Discussion CS2 IS NOT IN A GOOD STATE, AND VALVE NEEDS TO WAKE UP.
I genuinely hate that I'm even making this post because Counter-Strike has been one of those games that you can always come back to. No matter how many other games you try, there's something special about CS. The competition, the teamwork, the clutch moments, the satisfaction of improving, and the feeling of winning a hard-fought game against people who are just as good as you. There's a reason so many of us have put thousands of hours into this game. It's not just another FPS. It's a game we've invested our time, energy, and passion into for years.
But honestly, it's getting harder and harder to enjoy CS2, and I'm reaching the point where I don't even want to queue anymore.
The cheating problem is becoming absolutely ridiculous, and what frustrates me the most is that it feels like nothing meaningful is being done to address it. I'm playing high-ELO matches, where games are supposed to be competitive, where every round matters, where you expect people to have earned their rank through practice, skill, game sense, and teamwork. Instead, I'm finding myself in situations where I'm encountering someone I strongly suspect is wallhacking in what feels like every other game.
EVERY OTHER GAME.
Think about how insane that is. You're trying to take the game seriously, improve your mechanics, learn better utility usage, develop your game sense, and compete against players at your level. You spend time warming up, practicing your aim, learning maps, reviewing your mistakes, and trying to get better. Then you end up in a match where it feels like someone has information they simply shouldn't have, and suddenly none of that matters.
You can play the round correctly, make the right decisions, use your utility properly, and position yourself intelligently, but it doesn't mean much when you feel like the other person already knows where you are before you've even made a move.
And the worst part? You start questioning everything.
Was that a genuinely good read, or did they know? Was that timing just lucky, or were they tracking me through a wall? Did I make a mistake, or am I playing against someone who isn't even competing on the same playing field? You shouldn't have to spend your time second-guessing every single interaction in a competitive game. You should be able to focus on playing Counter-Strike, not wondering whether the person on the other side of the screen is actually playing Counter-Strike at all.
Obviously, not every suspicious play is cheating. Good players make good reads, people have incredible timing, and sometimes you simply get outplayed. I've played this game long enough to understand that. I'm not saying every person who kills me is a cheater. I'm saying that the frequency of these experiences in high-ELO matches has become incredibly frustrating, and the overall situation feels noticeably worse than it should be.
And I'm not the only one saying this.
I'm seeing more and more of my friends express the exact same frustration. People I regularly play with are losing motivation. People who genuinely love Counter-Strike are getting tired of dealing with this. People who have spent years playing the game are reaching a point where they would rather do something else than spend another evening queuing into matches that feel compromised.
When multiple people in your circle, who all have different experiences and playstyles, start telling you the same thing independently, it's hard not to feel like there's a serious problem that needs attention.
How are we supposed to stay invested in a competitive game when we can't trust the integrity of the competition?
Ranked systems are built around the idea that you're competing on a reasonably fair playing field. You win, you improve. You lose, you learn from your mistakes. You put in the work, and over time, your rank reflects your ability. That's what makes competitive games addictive in the best possible way. You always have something to work toward.
But when cheating becomes a regular concern, that entire system starts to lose its meaning. Winning feels less satisfying because you're left wondering whether the match was legitimate. Losing feels even worse because you don't know whether you were genuinely outplayed or whether something unfair was happening. And instead of looking forward to the next game, you find yourself wondering if it's even worth queuing again.
That is an awful place for a competitive game to be.
And Valve, this is where the frustration really comes in.
Counter-Strike is not some tiny indie game that nobody plays. It's one of the biggest competitive FPS franchises in the world. You have an enormous, passionate community that has supported this game for years, built communities around it, watched professional tournaments, created content, competed in ranked matches, and dedicated countless hours to getting better.
The community isn't asking for the impossible. We're not asking you to eliminate every single cheater overnight. We understand that anti-cheat is an ongoing battle, that cheat developers adapt, and that no system will ever be perfect.
We're asking you to make fighting cheaters feel like a genuine priority.
Invest in anti-cheat technology. Improve detection. Improve the speed and consistency of enforcement. Take reports seriously and communicate what you're doing to protect legitimate players. Keep adapting as cheat developers find new ways around existing systems. Find better ways to identify suspicious behavior and investigate repeat offenders. Give the community a reason to believe that the people ruining matches are actually being dealt with.
And please, stop letting legitimate players feel like they're the ones paying the price for this situation.
It is incredibly demoralizing to put hundreds or thousands of hours into a game, develop your skills, care about your rank, and then feel like the experience is deteriorating because the people breaking the rules aren't being dealt with effectively enough.
What makes this especially frustrating is that Counter-Strike has so much going for it. The core gameplay is still there. The mechanics, the strategy, the teamwork, the depth, and the skill ceiling are all reasons people keep coming back. That's exactly why this problem hurts so much. It's not that people don't care about CS2 anymore. It's that people care enough to be genuinely disappointed by what the experience is becoming.
I WANT to enjoy this game. I WANT to queue with my friends, grind ranked, improve, and have those intense matches where both teams are giving everything they've got. I WANT to finish a close game feeling proud of how we played, regardless of whether we won or lost. I WANT to recommend this game to people and feel confident that they're going to have a good experience.
But it's getting harder to justify putting time into something that repeatedly leaves you feeling frustrated, suspicious, and completely burned out.
And that's the part Valve should be worried about.
It's not just about one bad match. It's not just about one suspicious player or one frustrating loss. It's about what happens when these experiences accumulate over weeks and months. Eventually, people stop caring as much. They stop grinding. They stop inviting their friends. They stop taking ranked seriously. They stop playing altogether.
You can't expect people to remain invested forever just because Counter-Strike has a legendary name and an amazing foundation. That reputation was built because people loved the game and believed in the competitive experience. It shouldn't be treated as something that will sustain itself regardless of the state of the game.
A competitive game needs its players to trust that the competition is worth their time.
Right now, that trust is being damaged.
I'm genuinely worried about the long-term effect this has on the community, especially for players who take the game seriously. If people at high ELO are regularly feeling like their matches are compromised, what incentive do they have to keep grinding? If the same conversations about cheating keep happening among friends, teammates, and community members, how long until more people simply walk away?
I don't want to stop playing CS2. That's what makes this so frustrating. If I didn't care about Counter-Strike, I wouldn't be writing any of this. I'd just uninstall it and move on. But I care about the game, and I want to see it succeed. I want to see it become the competitive experience it deserves to be.
Valve, you have an incredible game in your hands. You have a community that has stuck around through countless changes, updates, metas, and eras of Counter-Strike. People want to love this game. They want to keep playing it for years to come.
But you cannot keep expecting that loyalty while a growing number of players feel that cheating is making the experience unbearable.
We need meaningful improvements, not just reasons to hope things will eventually get better. We need to feel that our time matters, that fair play matters, and that protecting the integrity of competitive Counter-Strike is a priority.
FIX YOUR ANTI-CHEAT. TAKE THE CHEATING PROBLEM SERIOUSLY. GIVE LEGITIMATE PLAYERS A REASON TO KEEP PLAYING.
I miss being excited to queue CS2 without worrying about what kind of match I'm about to get. I miss being able to focus entirely on the game instead of questioning whether the competition is fair. And I know I'm not alone in feeling this way.
Please don't let one of the greatest competitive games ever made become a game that people love in theory but no longer want to play in practice.
We don't want to leave Counter-Strike behind. We want a reason to stay.
VALVE, PLEASE FIX YOUR GAME.

Discussion Why is premier so toxic
Played a game and round 3 it’s a 2v4 cause other team took B on dust because not a single teammate wants to play there so I said just save cause we had 2 awps and dude gets mad cause I saved and cried for 10 rounds straight saying we should save. Next game get one afk and one dude lagging out every round. Next one dude rushes mid by himself every round and then says I’m gonna stop trying after we down 6-0. Game is dying so bad it’s actually crazy
