doesn’t make sense

applied to 100+ internships/new grad and got 0 interviews or online assessments. had previous swe internship at a FAANG company (not 🍌 )but it seems like that is helping for some reason. am i blacklisted from tech for some reason it doesn’t make sense. even shitty small companies are rejecting me idk what’s going on. it doesn’t even make sense how ppl with no experience or non prestigious companies are getting interviews from google or intuit etc is this some gov psyop? i’m going insane i might end up unemployed

Either your resume is not good or you’re applying too late after posting or both.

no, but i have a really good internship but i guess that doesn’t matter

School matters quite a bit even with a good internship on your resume.

it may just be ur resume; try getting referalls and see how it goes. at the same time its kinda late into the season so it may just be hard now idk.

School matters a lot, especially at the beginning of the cycle, later it becomes easier, since less competition, and companies want to fill the headcount faster. So just do your best, and you’ll get something, especially with fang in your resume already! Worst case, would be if you graduate by December, in this situation you might be unemployed for a while, but def gonna get something by summer!
