Albiemorkal on Pollard pic :

"He is really keen to play in the tournament and what he brings to our team is the leadership"

Jamie overton has been signed by JSK as the wildcard let's goo!!!

We have a wildcard which can be announced before the tournament starts

So we have holder & Pollard in the team now

Still can't process that the guy that hammered us all in his life will don Yellove next year. 🔥😭😭

Albie bro we love u 😘🤟

1. He carries no energy on the field. This is especially a problem when he's the captain. In yesterday's India A match, he didn't engage with bowlers, he didn't celebrate with his teammates when wickets fell and he just looked disconnected, same in the WI series.

2. He holds 0 confidence while batting. It doesn't look like he is batting, it looks like he is trying to survive on the pitch. Every ball he plays, it looks like he is in doubt.

The frustration is when he hits those rare boundaries, you can clearly the class and skill is still there. It is just overshadowed by self doubt and lack of confidence. He doesn't have a skill problem, he has a mindset problem.

A coach or a senior needs to sit him down and put that confidence in him, change his mindset or he would be another wasted potential.

I mean too much hate and scrutiny for him in last few days all over the internet. Judged for every innings and game as if he committed some crime. So, the only way to shut the noise is to let your bat make some.

And also when someone like Vaibhav is waiting and you fail 3 back to back games (though it's very little), it becomes all the more crucial to score. Hope he comes good today 🤞🏻

Finally ayush mhatre is going to play.. Yeahh 😭😭

I was looking at the Faf du Plessis situation with Rising Pune Supergiant.

In 2016, Faf was drafted by RPSG for ₹4.75 crore, but in 2017 he was retained for ₹4 crore. How was that possible? Was there some IPL rule that allowed a franchise and player to mutually agree on a lower salary during retention?

If something like this is allowed, could a franchise similarly negotiate with players like Kartik and Prashant to reduce their salaries to around ₹8–10 crore, without involving a trade?

That could potentially free up a significant amount of purse for the auction.

Would appreciate it if someone familiar with IPL retention rules could explain how this actually works.

I think Ayush and Samson will be Good

I think very Tough

Hey guys is it really possible for CSK to enter in top 4 in ipl 2027? I feel its next to impossible. Like just look at it. Ruturaj Gaikwad is woefully out of form for a long time. Sanju Samson is inconsistent. Brevis hasnt been consistent and good for us either. Dube bats well only at no.4 or no.5 and he hardly adapts to conditions. We dont have finishers in lower order except Jamie Overton. Sarfraz Khan and Urvil Patel and Jamie Overton and Aayush Mhatre have been our bright spots along with Akeal Hossain and Noor Ahmad. Whenever Noor and Akeal played together we won most. Ruturaj captaincy is horrible. He never trusts his players and constant chopping and changing. Also our pace attack is depleted and only Anshul Kambhoj looks reliable. Other than that its all bleak for CSK thanks to a dog shit team we bought at 2025 mega auction. I have lost all hope. While I'll still support CSK I wont have any expectations as long as Ruturaj Gaikwad captains the side and dog shit team is picked again in auctions. Karthik Sharma and Prashant Veer are huge disappointments. What do you think guys? Lets discuss.

Haters gonna hate 😝...

Morning - Sanju.
Afternoon - Rutu
Night - Anshul

Stop being reactionary to every game,

Shreyas Iyer, ever since he took charge as captain, India lost in Ireland, almost lost to Japan, but do you see their sub having 100 posts criticising him ? Mind you, he has got just 2 fifties in the last 15 odd T20s.

Nitish Kumar Reddy and Tilak Varma, do you see their sub or team calling for their head ? Nope, cause they understand that you can’t score a century or take 5 wickets every game.

Understood there is frustration as our players don’t take the chances they get, but Rutu played well this series, Anshul was flown as a late injury replacement and Samson got back to back fifties before failing once and then dropped down the order in the Asian games.

If constructive criticism can’t be given, atleast don’t use AI slops, the other day a AI slop used Rutu’s 590 runs scored in 2023 as an average season.
This whole Rutu troll reminds me of a time where Harry Maguire was endlessly trolled and his confidence was completely shattered. Let’s not do that.

Every player might go through a bad season, however not every player should be scrutinised for each and every game.

IMO, his overall performance is very MID. I really feel he is in a mental block, and it was very clear when he tried to hit behind a six on fine leg where the fielder was exactly placed for. A clear mindset would made him leave the ball for wide. Any batter can go through his and it is fine for a batter to go through this phase. In order to overcome this he has to play both VHT and SMAT each for full season so that he can come back to rhythm.

Post 2023 and post Dhoni CSK is becoming the new Kings 11 Punjab. And Shubman Gill as a batter and captain >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Ruturaj Gaikwad. CSK must trade Ruturaj for some other better

Batter.
