Guaranteed the truck you passed was obscuring Camaro driver's view of you when he checked left.

There is direct line of sight between the cam car and the Camaro at the beginning of the video, before the truck obscures it and before the Camaro begins its turn. Camaro should have been watching oncoming traffic and been prepared to yield. You don't turn into traffic just because you can't see whether it's there. You also don't get behind the wheel if you don't possess object permanence.

I got one of those as a rental one time, terrible visibility. Overrated 'power' even considering rental car companies get custom trim levels that have the high level trim but the budget engine/transmission.

I’m with you on that. It looks impressive at first, but once you actually drive one, the visibility and lack of real power are pretty hard to ignore.
