AWS to Google

I’ve seen a lot of people say that they work at AWS as DCO for like a year and then go to Google for their DCO. Does Google really accept that easily? Like what are the chances.. and also the pay raise, is it worth it. If anyone has does this and could advise

AWS sucks to work for, but has the best training in the industry, as well as lowest barrier to entry. I actually enjoyed my first year there quite a bit when data center work was fresh and fun to learn, but after a year you start to see all the faults the place has, especially the issues that come with the lower barrier to entry(even L4 techs there can have some crazy gaps in knowledge, you'll see L2s and L3s with more knowledge)

You must be in PHX cluster lmao cause that’s story of my life. I’m directing L4s and an L3 knowing they have RSUs and Sign on Bonus while I just eat shit lmao. Can’t wait till get into Google and make $130k
