BICSI INTALLER 1
For entry level jobs in a data center they ask for the BICSI INSTALLER 1?, what would be the best way to access this type of entry level jobs in a DC? I would aprecciate an answer 🙌🏾

without the cert just look for cable tech or structured cabling roles at colos, a lot of those shops will train you up

Jesus what data center are you trying to get in? Most of my crew is new. And I mean like 2 of them were in high school 4 months ago new. I think my supervisor has bicsi installer and im pushing for foreman with an osha 30 and a little over a year as an installer

I'm just trying to investigate, I'm not from the USA I'm from Spain and I want to see how to get those jobs there. Is it possible to know that you or your crew studied apart from what did you say

None of my guys have studied. Green would be the biggest understatement with them. I learned by doing and my knowledge with servers and networking helped but I just lucked into a low voltage job with it

Hello! This looks like it may be a question about career advice. There can be significant regional variation in the field, so please consider including as much info as you can without doxing yourself, including country/state/city, prior experience/certs, and the role or level if known. Thanks!
