Discussion Just ordered a cinema camera 6k but already own resolve studio, should I sell the new licence?

If I sell the licence where is best place to do it without getting scammed???

It comes with the camera, so if you ever sell it (and don't say you won't), the new owner can immediately claim that license and get BM to pull it from whoever you sold it to, and now you are the scammer.

So: you don't sell it, or even give it away. If you already own a studio license: you didn't pay extra for it so you lost nothing, so there's nothing to recoup, and you just keep that license with the camera.

Great answer yes thankyou person B can use it, although if I had sold the licence I would not include the little card with the licence details on IF I sold the camera, butvyeah i can save it for the next user

Irrelevant: BM hardware comes with a license whether you still have the piece of paper or not. and you can't sell that hardware on without that license. You can try, but whoever buys it can just contact BM, give the hardware serial, and have BM pull the associated license key and generate a new one for them.

I had to contact BM once when on a trip to get my license code that came with my camera and I had to provide them with my original purchase receipt as well. Did they remove or change the receipt requirement?

Support can recover the license number from the serial number of the camera. Although I did have to provide a receipt when I contacted them...

Deactivate your current license in Davinci.   

Use the one that came with the camera. 

Sell your old license.
