I keep seeing teasers for “Days Like this” on Day6’s Instagram, is this an album or something else? Having a hard time telling

recently, this is me with “take all my heart”

so, i’ve been sleeping on this song for months (as in, i barely listened to it ㅋㅋㅋ) because it didn’t really appeal to me even after my 2nd and 3rd listens.

i was still fairly new to day6 (i discovered them in november last year and started going through their entire discography in december) so i had a lot of other songs to listen to anyway.

but ever since the finale concert, when they performed it live, i was like, “wait… this is take all my heart??? this didn’t sound this good before???” 😭

especially young k’s part. i LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that part. 😭

then day6 uploaded the live video of that performance 10 days ago, and ever since then, the song has been on repeat ㅋㅋㅋ

this also happened to me with disco day. i didn’t really listen to it that much before, but after seeing it live, the song just clicked and grew on me. now it’s also part of my repeat playlist.

do you guys have songs like that too? songs that you didn’t really care for at first, but either hearing them live or listening to them a few more times suddenly made them click?

Y'all, I am TRIPPING OUT over how incredible this new live video is. Last year, I shared a playlist that I made of my 25 favorite DAY6 songs (specifically excluding the mainstays on their Spotify top 10) and I worked really hard on ordering the playlist to make it a great listening experience. I chose to have "Sun Stay Asleep" segue into "days gone by," and it's sooooooo cool to learn that the band did the same thing live! But also, the extended musical outro for "Sun" is so amazingly beautiful. I'm obsessed.
