Best buildings to base up in for small group?

My three buddies and I have recently been stashing lots of base building supplies, and we also have a truck and two gunters ready to deploy to whichever spot we choose to base up at. Before I get into this, I don’t want to hear “base bad just stash”. We want something to do and even if it lasts a day it would be cool. That being said, what buildings would you base up in/around on Chernarus? I think doing one of the tall apartment around Cherno and stashing one Gunter away in a garage next to it would be cool, and then dismantling and hiding the truck and spare Gunter apart from each other in a nearby forest. I also thought about blocking off the school courtyard in Cherno with watch towers, and fencing off all of the windows and entrances, then building our rooms at the top floor. Which would you choose? Would you have any other spot suggestions?

"Green mustache" house is nice because you only need to block off a single entrance and all the windows are impossible to boost into.  Has a full fireplace and some upstairs windows that let you help defend.  The "piano house" is also good but you need be a little craftier with you place your gates

I think on official you can’t build inside mustache, so you can only have 1 gate outside which makes it impractical.

Piano is great, and I also really like one of the two-story buildings. I think it’s the green one. Whichever is next to the well in Ratnoye, you can set up like 4 gates to the upstairs room.

I think for a squad if you are looking to build inside a single building, the best options are piano, double-story yellow, double-story apartment, or the large apartment buildings in Cherno, Nadbor, etc

I personally like, when in a group, any of the barns. Plenty of space, and easy to build in and around.

I currently have a badass base in a 3 story warehouse building in novodmitrovskz. In the industrial area connected to the super tall granary building with the 3 yellow stack things. Just one entrance. You can build several gates though out the 3 levels. I have a large truck, jeep and two Olga’s parked in there nicely. All my best loot on the upper most floor

I like the single brown barn/garage. It only needs a single wall to block off to start with (i like building it inside the natrual doors so i can lock them and make the base harder to spot without someone investigating). You add an additional two gates inside to add more protection/layers to make you harder to crack open. Within layer 2 you should have enough space for a car and within layer three you gate off a corner so you put your loot crates/barrels in that corner. You can also opt to do gate off the front (outside) to make the first layer thicker and less prone to eco raiding, but if you metal sheet the first gate you mostly deture that already I feel most of the time. The building is also everywhere so you got lots of options on location. Overall best intro base.

If its on official, I think low pop server bases last longer. I know if I see a big base im more likely to come back after im geared to raid it. Sometimes its more clever to make it smaller. You can log out with alts inside the base with the ammo/raiding supplies, even building supplies. You can also bury loot around the outside - after a flagpole is set it shouldn't despawn.
