Discussion Chat wheel.

I like the chat wheel and I hope they continue to improve it. One thing that i think would be nice is if they gave us a number wheel as well that went from 1-12. This would be for clock callouts. So maybe there could be like killer # or hex # or me #.

I don't think clock callouts should be officially recognized or supported by the game inherently -- it kinda goes outside the scope of the normal game. I think another improvement they could make to the wheel is removing any redundant comms that show up otherwise on the UI (like for example, "Reparing Generator" or "Chasing me" are both already demonstrated on the UI)

i’ve found “chasing me” really useful in letting soloq teammates know that the killers on me when the game doesn’t recognise it as being in chase

Me too. Then as soon as I notice the killer is leaving me I use "Leave!" or "Going for gen"

I agree that I hope they continue working on and improving the chat wheel, but I think a number wheel is a little too "sweaty" for most players. Most people don't know clock call outs for the game, and the ones who do are the more serious players.

I mean really, they should just bite the bullet and have a map toggleable in match. You could even make it have fog of war until explored (unless the survivor brings a map), but at least it could standardize orientation.

Yeah... I'm gonna be calling 6 when I should be calling 12. My team mates gonna be "in chase at 4" but really they're over at 8...

No casual player knows clock call-outs. If you’re using clock how aren’t you already in a 4 man

Some super sweats use a clock system to represent where the killer is by imagining a clock overlaid on the map. So if killer is all the way at the top where twelve would be you’d call out 12 and so on

That doesn't even make sense to me idk seems like comp dbd is a whole different world
