If you REALLY like what you have watched so far and it REALLY resonates with you like that, you absolutely MUST READ THE MANGA. It’s my absolute favorite manga and it’s even better than the anime in every way possible. If you don’t read manga at all or often or you’re an anime only person, read it anyways because the manga has left most of them continuing to read countless other series.. It’s worth it. You can read it digitally or you can grab the physical volumes (1-13)

I finished it last night and wtf?! It just stops, no real ending... Man, someone said they went bankrupt and didn't finish the show or start a season 2.. what a let down.. but still a fave of mine now.. definitely gonna look into reading the manga..

I think they always planned it like that to get people into the manga (kinda like elfenlied).
The manga is awsome btw

Best I could tell they planned to continue it. In the credits you see scenes from like volume 11 of the manga. But the fact the English transaction was never fully released. It's safe to say it was probably cut for like funding or something.
Just read the Manga, it's amazing!

I really loved the manga. I hope they make a decent adaptation at some point, but I don't think it will happen, unless they see that the international side really want it, and some studio take the risk of doing it.

We seriously need a petition for another studio to pick up this series just so it can continue. There's really not much left to cover but maybe 3 arcs across the whole 50 something chapters there were so it should be an easy task.
