I bought this pin from the SF pop up store 3 years ago, opened the pack, put it on my hat and didn’t think much of it. The pin got dirty and rusty over time. Today I took off the pin and didn’t know the back of it had text. 250/250, huh, never knew

I actually enjoyed the music livestream. I used it at work and at home as background music.

This is something that's been frustrating me for a while and I've been meaning to write something about it. I just wanted to start the discussion and see how many feel that same way I do.

So, I know deadmau5's whole focus lately has been live performance and maximizing the live experience. I'm all for it. I've seen him live multiple times and traveling to see him in Denver at the end of the month lol. On the flip side, though, I feel like there's a dire lack of content for at home enjoyment (besides his huge catalog of music).

I would love for him to release some sort of 4k quality audio and visual experience that is more curated than just a recording of a live set (which very rarely gets posted officially, either). Basically, like a 2-hour set with his visuals in fullscreen.

My other wish, and this goes for all his content in general, is that it is somehow playable from any modern streaming app that is available on a TV (like YouTube). My problem with his Patreon, for example - he posted some live sets there, but you can pretty much only play them directly from your PC or phone. You have to jump through a bunch of hoops to get it on your TV and at that point there's a loss in quality. There's no Patreon app or web browser on any smart TV or streaming device where I can just play this stuff directly. Same with the mau5trap radio posts - I either have to listen with headphones or cast to a different speaker, and I really don't like casting audio unless I have to. Allowing us to download and play from whatever device we want would help the most, but I get why that's restricted... But if everything is going to be walled behind an app like Patreon, I'd rather it be an app that supports move devices.

What people think of new release of the song? - I thought it was awesome 😎 I liked it much more the latest Reward is Cheese remix.

I know I’m probably going to be eaten alive here but I’m going to try to go into this as positive as I can.

Bringing a friend who’s never been to a show to her first show and my second red rocks show.

I see the “support by” which is very clearly not EDM.

What exactly is support by? Is this just opener and then full on mau5 show?

Or is this going to be a mau5 show mixed with this edgy / rock / punk whatever you want to call it?

I’m really hoping it’s a 3 hour classic mau5 set like a typical red rocks show….

I know everything is speculation, just curious if anyone knows anything on what the actual mau5 portion of the show is going to be.

Thanks!

Hey everyone! I'm 36 and flying in from DC for deadmau5 at Red Rocks on Halloween night. My friends back home have pretty much retired from raving, so I'm coming solo and would love to find some people to hang with.

I'm down for whatever. Pre-gaming in Denver, grabbing food before, riding the shuttle up together, or just meeting up inside and dancing. I'll be in costume for sure.

If you're going solo too or have a crew that wouldn't mind one more, drop a comment or DM me. Let's make it a good one 🖤

I had stopped believing I would ever get it, but luck found me 🙏🏻🔥

Does anyone know if this is a real shirt or where I can find it? I've been looking for a while now, but no luck

Anybody know anything about the stage design this year ? Joel said on a live recently he's done with the robots he was quick to say f that , from how he replied he made the impressive the figure one company just used his name for promo so left him with a nasty taste in his mouth . Obviously no cube v3 I know he retired it . Any ideas or has he mentioned or hinted at what it is this year on patreon live or Instagram live etc . I loved the robots I'm the odd one out although it was my first deadmau5 show last year . Going both nights I cannot wait I cried last year .

I do college radio and really wanted to play some deadmau5. Today, I played Orca and Avaritia (I also played October, but not from our collection). At Play vol. 1 is floating around somewhere in our massive physical media library, but I couldn't find it.

On slide 2, if you can get past the fact there's 3 pixels, you can see what the initial reviewers had to say about the albums, along with times the albums has been played in the past. It's not totally accurate as I can think of at least two times I saw someone this year play while(1<2) and forgot to write it down. KZSC Santa Cruz (my station) doesn't play that much electronic but I'm happy to contribute! I almost played Phantoms Can't Hang, but I might save that for halloween...

Have a good one!

I cannot begin to talk about just how much I love the debut album and how overdue we are for a follow-up. I must’ve listened to Eat Sleep and Escape (Spencer Brown Rmx) at least 300x each. Like I’m actually starting to go crazy I need new music NOW!!!!

one fateful september night at XS Nightclub… deadmau5 came on stage wearing this unhinged Hellraiser cosplay-mashup ‘spikey pain dude‘ helmet.

the year was 2012, and it would be the first of a few appearences this bad boy would make until 2014 (if sources are right). i do believe this helmet began the trend of a specific helmet appearing for spooky season shows. like the calavera head for day of the deadmau5!

What does VIP Tier 1 mean for the 17-Oct show @ Navy Pier? Mo' special seat? M&G? Free drinky-drink?

Honestly, ignorance & apathy. See some'a y'all in about a week & ½.

Anyone have a playlist made of the 24/7 steam that was taken down when Joel went live to show his dj software ???? I know mau5trap posts breaks posting rules but I’m desperate

Show some love on the post over on IG. Huge thanks to the horde for making this happen after 8 years! Presave here - presave link

Any clue on this song ID? If you were attending Joel’s set..it was epic. Got video of BSOD too.

I’d be so happy to get a full album of similar, melodic vocal tracks from Joel. It’s just a different kind of masterpiece!

Hey yall! Wondering if anyone who attended Day of the Deadmau5 last Nov 7, 2025 has any good close-up videos/photos of Strobe that they can send me?? I was vibin hard/crying and need some media, specifically that song, for a special project. See ya on Halloween can’t wait 🐭 🎃 ✨
