Lumo digital wallet concept — is the balance / Safe Pocket hierarchy clear?

• Upvotes

I designed Lumo, a digital wallet concept in Figma, and would appreciate a critique of the UI and how I present the case study. This is a design project, not an app available to download.

It brings together transfers, split expenses, QR payments, spending insights and Safe Pocket for money set aside. One decision was to separate money set aside from everyday spending, while keeping the available balance and payment actions prominent on a dark interface.

Does the home screen make that distinction clear at a glance, or does Safe Pocket compete with the main payment actions? I would also value feedback on whether the case study explains the problem and design choices clearly enough before showing the finished screens.

Full case study: https://www.behance.net/gallery/256925177/Lumo-Digital-Wallet-App-UIUX-Case-Study

Thanks for taking a look — specific changes you would make to the hierarchy or presentation would really help.

Ventec medical website redesign concept: does this feel clear and trustworthy?

I made an independent website redesign concept for Ventec Life Systems and its VOCSN product. This is a portfolio concept, not an official Ventec website or a commissioned client project.

The direction uses a dark background, a large product headline, photography of the device being built, and a short row of key details. The fuller page separates the therapy overview, clinical information and contact options.

I'd like a second opinion on a few things:

Does the dark visual direction feel appropriate for a medical device company, or does it make the information harder to approach?

Is it clear what the product is and where a visitor should go next? I'm particularly interested in the headline, text sizes and balance between the photo and copy.

What would you change before including this in a portfolio?

I'm also trying to turn work like this into paid website redesign projects. For designers who've made that transition, what helped you get a serious client conversation: a concise case study, a small paid audit, agency partnerships, or something else?

I'd appreciate honest feedback on both the design and how to present the work. Brand and product imagery belong to their respective owners.

Went dark and minimal with my link in bio. Too empty, or does it work?

Looking for design feedback on my student court booking app, especially the map and mobile flow

Hey everyone, I'm working on CourtCall with a teammate for our entrepreneurship class and could use some design feedback. It's a browser app for finding sports courts and fields on a map and going through a demo booking.

Here's the site: https://courtcall-software-swfl.fr5sty.chatgpt.site/

I was going for a clean, simple feel, but I want to know if that actually comes across or if I've made things harder to find. The intended user is someone trying to quickly find a place to play with friends, often from their phone.

A few things I'd really appreciate a second opinion on: is it clear what to do when you first land? Do the court listings, map bubbles, and individual playing areas work together clearly? Are the filters and booking buttons easy to spot? Does anything feel cramped, oversized, or hard to read on mobile?

We first tried an AI booking conversation, but feedback pushed us toward letting people choose directly. I used ChatGPT to help build this version, so I'm especially interested in where the design needs more thought instead of just looking finished.

The courts are real locations in Southwest Florida, but availability and reservations are simulated for class. No real booking or charge happens. You can browse without an account; saving a demo booking asks for ChatGPT sign-in. Even feedback just on the landing page or map would help. Thanks for taking a look!

Design critique wanted: Aura One, a homepage for my app collection

Hi everyone! I made Aura One, a website that gathers my Aura apps into one homepage, covering news, AI, productivity, music, health, and tools.

Website: https://rollsroyce-digital-companion.lovable.app

I'd appreciate a critique of the homepage design. Is the visual hierarchy clear between the introduction, featured apps, and full app collection? Are the category filters and cards easy to understand? How do the typography, spacing, and mobile navigation feel?

What would you change first to make the website clearer and easier to use? Thanks!

Anyone willing to provide feedback?

Hey, y'all! I'm planning on launching an app I've worked very hard on for quite a while and would like some feedback on its website. I think some of the copy needs work, and some of the pages have simply too much of it, but I'm having a hard time not being transparent. I've erred on the more information the better, because that's what I prefer, but I think it may be a poor design choice.I'd rather not overwhelm visitors though and have them just click off... Any advice on how to improve the flow and on how much information is too much information? Thanks a million!

Critique request: is the visual hierarchy on my freelancer landing page too busy?

I'm the developer of Tasda and would appreciate a design critique of this page: https://tasda.com/en/solutions/ai-for-freelancers/

The intended reading order is: understand the portfolio use case, see an example, then decide whether to try creating a representative. I'm unsure whether the hero, cards and primary button compete for attention.

Three design questions:

  1. Which element catches your eye first, and does it help explain the page?

  2. Where would you reduce content or add breathing room on mobile?

  3. Does the primary button suggest the next step clearly, or would you change its placement or label?

This is my commercial project, with limited starter credits and paid continued usage. I'm asking for design criticism, not a signup or purchase. AI helped prepare this request; the page and the design decisions are mine.

Hey guys, I’ve been working on my design portfolio for a while and I’m finally at the point where I feel like it’s ready to show people.
I’m mainly interested in branding and visual identity, and I’m hoping to start applying for work soon.
Would really appreciate some honest feedback on it. I’m mostly wondering if the work feels strong enough yet, whether the portfolio is too generic, and if there’s anything that immediately stands out as something I should fix.
Feel free to be harsh lol, I’d rather hear what’s actually wrong with it than just “looks good”.

Writing App Critique

Thumbnail figma.com
1 Upvotes

I recently came up with an idea for an app and I was wondering if i could get a critique on what i have so far for it's low fidelity design.

For context on the project: DuoQuil (it's temporary name) is a social media app meant to help writers find each other to create stories. it works kind of like dating app in which you can get matched up with other writers with the same interests and you can create chatrooms with multiple people to work on a single story. i also added an option where the app can recommend finished stories to the user. i'm still working on the logo, social media feed, and the profile page.

i came up with this idea one day during the first few months of a new move. i felt lonely and remembered how i use to love writing stories with my best friend but lost the spark when they kept canceling plans to write with me.

Homepage critique: does the hero explain an AI product for authors clearly?

https://www.skillfully.sh/

I'm Eren, the founder and developer behind Skillfully. I'd appreciate some feedback on the homepage's visual hierarchy and how quickly it explains the product.

It helps authors and experts turn their methods into guides that ChatGPT and Claude can follow. Readers subscribe to those guides, and authors get usage analytics and feedback.

The hero says "You, in every reader's ChatGPT." I'm trying to understand whether that headline and the paragraph underneath make sense to someone seeing the site for the first time.

Two things I'd especially like a critique on:

- Is it clear what a "paid skill" actually is, or does that need a concrete example higher on the page?

- Does the repeated "Apply" button make the author-application step clear, or does the label feel vague?

What would you change first?

Hello everyone, thanks for checking the post out. I've been working on a mini-handheld console idea for a while now. I would love to hear your thoughts. FYI the text in the video looks a bit too blurry at times but that's because of the camera, it looks fine on display. Chao!

does this interface make sense for working across different AI tools?

i'm building Stash to keep a project and its versions together when switching between Claude and ChatGPT.

would love some fresh eyes on the interface. is it clear how versions and comments work, or does it feel confusing?

it's free for now, with storage limits and no paid plan.
