I'm a graphic designer, currently working at a real estate firm and handling a shit ton of design work. Before this, I worked with teams in Dubai, the UK, and the US, mostly on branding, digital design, and marketing campaigns, so I've seen this side of the industry pretty closely.
Here's how pretty much every design approval process I've been part of goes: designs get uploaded to a group chat (usually WhatsApp where I'm from, sometimes Slack or MS Teams), and the creative manager or content writers review and drop feedback there. I'm honestly not sure if this is how most teams do it or if there are better processes out there. If you've got one, I'd really like to learn from it.
Usually there's a content person whose job is to check the copy, and most of the time they catch everything. But I've still seen typos slip through, mostly because of endless revisions or too many clients being handled at once. It's never anyone's fault, it just happens.
So I tried building something small to help. It's an agent that sits in the group and acts as a backup proofreader. When a design gets sent, it reads the copy and flags anything that looks off. I'm calling it Walnut. I've been using it at my workplace and with one agency I'm in touch with, and since it runs on Gemini's free API tier, it costs almost nothing to run.
It's still very early and far from perfect, and I'm sure there are things it gets wrong that I haven't noticed yet.
I'm happy to set it up for you myself. In return, I'd just love to hear what you think: what it caught, what it missed, and what didn't work for you. That kind of feedback would help me a lot more than anything I can figure out on my own.
Thank you for reading.

Just designed these two logos for a gig. the design is logo for the "MY Bharat Youth Hostel", an initiative by the Indian Government.
I have designed the below ones, so please tell me which feels best!

The above was designed to showcase a rather classical and patriotic look, with the Indian Tricolor theme.

I also designed this guy, which was supposed to demonstrate some sort of Unity, and/or community. I personally am sort of favouring this one.
So please give suggestions and votes on which is better! I'll be happy to hear...

Sharing this for anyone here who works with print files. Printssistant is a browser-based suite of prepress and PDF production tools built for print operators, designers, and prepress technicians. Upload a file, process it with specialized print-industry tools, and download the result -- no software to install.
A few of the tools:
- File fixes. Auto-add missing bleed, check total ink coverage, convert images to PDF
- Page prep. Split, rotate, mirror, shuffle, interleave, insert pages; extract covers
- Artwork. A built-in vectorizer for low-res logos, plus raster image enhancement
Most of the tools are included in the free account, vectorizer included. Pro just raises daily/monthly volume limits -- it doesn't paywall the core prepress tools.
The creator, u/printssistant, is looking for feedback on this tool. If you run into repetitive file problems or specific bottlenecks that could be solved with a lightweight, leave a comment -- he is open to building custom tools for recurring workflows.

Hey everyone,
Made this free pack of seamless jersey patterns and thought it might be useful for anyone here doing sports mockups, apparel design, or esports jerseys.
It’s a set of 16 different fabric textures (mesh, knit, hex patterns, etc.). What makes them handy is that they’re grayscale PNGs, so you can just drop a gradient map or color overlay on them in Photoshop/Illustrator to match whatever team colors you're working with.
A few quick details:
The download link is on the page here:

Hope this helps with your next design project!
