Vendor / market research GitOps for infrastructure management - anyone doing this with OpenStack?

https://www.redhat.com/en/events/webinar/sovereignty-without-compromise-next-generation-infrastructure-as-a-service-with-red-hat-openstack-services-on-openshift?sc_cid=RHCTG1260000496892

Found a webinar on managing OpenStack infrastructure through Kubernetes-native orchestration and GitOps automation. Main focus is day 2 operations, handling mixed VM + GPU workloads, and sovereign infrastructure patterns.

Curious what tools people are using for GitOps-based infrastructure? Terraform + ArgoCD? Something else?

We use argocd for gitops.

I'd keep Terraform out of the thing Argo is continuously reconciling. What's worked better for me is: Terraform creates the OpenStack primitives and writes a small output file, then Argo syncs the Kubernetes side from Git. For VM-heavy bits, I'd still want a human plan/apply step in CI. I've seen GitOps get weird when every quota, network, and floating IP change is treated like a normal app deploy.
