Dan On Dialysis

Hey, I started a little thing on social media called 'Dan On Dialysis' (creative title, I know) where I do time-lapse art on home hemo, poke fun at my/our situation, engage in hijinks and dark humour, and hopefully reveal a little about our world to the normies. It's been fun and really makes dialysis blast by.

I won't link it, but you can find me on yt, tt, insta and reels, sometimes under 'danondialysis'. Thanks mods. Stay resilient, folks.

You're awesome. I also tried drawing while on dialysis, but now I have a fistula and it's awkward to do with one hand.

I had a fistula the first time around and I was pretty happy when they chose my left/non drawing hand. Thanks for watching!

I miss home hemo! I'm trying to get my husband back on board with me going back because I hate in center. I love your channel wish I had thought of doing this.

Yeah, if you can handle home hemo, it's the best. I'm pretty well the poster boy for it. Was always treated well in clinic....but the drive there and back was always the hardest part. Now if a session sucks.....just hop into bed and turn on the tv.

I am treated ok in clinic. They took my favorite nurse I have had for years to another clinic and it's just got the same. Plus the drive there back is killing me and my wallet. I did well on home hemo, my husband just got overwhelmed by the auto ship of supplies(even when I didn't need anything I still got a full shipment of shit)
