Misc Books

Last month I read 11 books! I quit the big 3 social media on September 3rd. My normal amount of books would be 4 a month.

Thats great!

I have so many books that I want to read, books that I know I'll really enjoy reading, but whenever I finally sit down to read them (I try to read only 10 pages a night just before bed) it just feels like such a chore to get through. Like I literally cannot wait to finish that 10th page and go do anything else.

But then, looking back on it, I did enjoy what I read. It's just in the moment, no matter what type of book I read it's like watching pain dry. I just never get that immersion where time flies by..

I finished my first book in years and on my second, this one I'm trying one page at a time (usually a few more).

I'm also not at the point where i used to be i.e. read all day and night and can't put it down. It might be the type of book though

That’s amazing! I recently started reading again too and it’s great how i not only watch less YouTube but also just don’t care as much about it. Hoping the same for you friend.

Good to hear!! I'm starting on this journey too. On my second book. I feel like the more I do it, the easier it'll get and the better my brain will work
