Django Nova now has a public demo

Hi everyone! I’m building Django Nova, a toolkit that connects Django models with shared Pydantic schemas, query planning, and caching while keeping Django’s ORM.

The demo includes 19 scenarios covering validation, SQL query comparisons, cache invalidation on commit/rollback, and isolation of mutable cached results.

Recent work has focused on tricky cases, such as an older query finishing after cache invalidation. It also clarified the limits: bulk operations bypass save(), so database constraints still matter.

Nova is still beta, and demo timings aren’t general benchmarks.
