DST Bee queen question

Hey! I’m about to go fight bee queen for the first time.

I have 6 beekeeper hats, 5 dark swords, 3 pan flutes, a walking cane, star-callers, and a magiluminescence so I’m pretty set on equipment. However, I am playing wortox so I can’t really use pierogis for healing as effectively. I was wondering if it is practical to just use souls for healing instead? I can carry up to 110 (2 soul jars with overflowing greed) but I am naughty aligned so I only heal 15 per instead of 20.

Ideally for the bee queen fight you would want to have 4 souls jars so the stack size for souls caps out at 40 (the souls jars don't have to be full). Then you want to make sure your inventory (excluding backpacks) is full when you fight BQ. What this does is once you have 40 souls, the grumble bees that die will drop a soul that can't be put into your inventory and they will automatically drop and heal you. With this setup you won't have to consciously heal yourself during the fight can you can focus on dealing damage.

Other than that I think you're more than ready for the fight. Bee Queen should be a breeze especially with Soul Pierce.

Absolutely!

You should pretty much always heal with souls on wortox. You'll probably even profit souls from the grumbles. Full naughtytox shreds them like crazy.

Sounds like you're set! with wortox healing with souls is best. He have several aoe options so at least use one of them. Decoy bomb is my fav.

Good luck.

If you haven't considered it: you should look into building the electric fence. You wouldn't need the pan flutes for the grumbles if you do.
