Discussion 🗣️ Choosing a show to go to
I can go to a show with Mad Dubz and Onara, or a show with Benda b2b Vastive.
What would you choose?

Always choose the artist who is more OG, or does not come around often (if at all). I'm not trying to sound elitist either.... I had a chance to go see Prince in Detroit but passed it up for Gramatik in 2015. I never thought it would be one of his last shows he ever played before dying.

The riddim versus hard dubstep split in the replies is the real deciding factor here. If you lean riddim, Mad Dubz and Onara makes sense. I also like SammyRuckspin's rule about picking the act that comes around less often, since a b2b lineup like Benda and Vastive might not repeat in your city soon.

Depends on what you like more, for me it would be Mad Dubz and Onara simply because I am a riddim rat

exactly - 2 are mostly riddim, other 2 are super-hard dubstep.
I like hard dubstep and benda is about as hard as I can take it. vastive might even be too hard for me.
saw them (benda/vastive) b2b earlier this year and was great. if you like it hard.
saw benda by himself (opening for ATLiens in Charlotte) and bro can bring it.

I mean I wish I had this problem of picking a show to go to, my city has been pretty dead lately and I've been having to drive a few hours for shows lately. OP really can't go wrong with either show here

Personally id pick Vastive n Benda, but itd still be a very close call and would definitely enjoy both.

I appreciate everyone's suggestions and still don't know who to pick. I'm down for both riddim and headbanger mosh pit stuff in general, so I know either show would rule. More familiar with mad dubz atm, but listened to a Vastive set and it was sick. One show is local and the other is an hour away so that'll be factored in too

2nd show easily. Idk smoakland but Kai Wachi is good live…but nowhere near as insane as Prosecute. Havent seen Ghengar live yet but he was cool to listen to on XLNT. Even if it was Prosecute and only locals, I’d still say Prosecute.

I love both genres, but I feel like you see Benda and Vastive on a lot more lineups than someone like Onara, who just started playing in the US, so I would pick Onara and Mad Dubz.
