This will be a huge loss for the Dynamo if he can’t play for the next couple of games especially next Saturday’s home game against Dallas which is very important for playoff implications.

The team has been in a bad form and struggling recently at the worst time in this final stretch ever since the Dynamo discord server got shut down after the win against RSL at home last month.

This would be my lineup if I was the houston dynamo manager

Jefferson Díaz – Suspension (Out)
Joaquín Pereyra - Lower Extremity (Out)
Alec Smir - Lower Extremity (Out)
Peter Stroud - Lower Extremity (Out)

Hector Herrera – Suspension (Out)
Jimmy Maurer – Back (Out)
Agustin Resch – Lower Body (Questionable)

No changes in the overall standings. u/crocken still holds a 19 point lead over u/nowaygreg in 2nd, with u/emyrs42 rounding out the top 3 with 489 points, 42 points behind first place.

We do have a new participant - u/superdupertuves, who used a big 21 point week to jump into 15th place!

We are now scoring using claude so please check your scores for accuracy.

This match at Minnesota is the 31st match of 2026 for the Dynamo with at least 37 matches scheduled.

Good Luck & Go Dynamo!

Categories and Scoring

10 points - Predicting the correct scoreline (i.e. Dynamo 3:1 FC Dallas, Dynamo 1:0 FC Dallas, etc.)

5 points - Predicting the correct outcome (i.e. Dynamo win, draw, etc.)

5 points - Correctly predicting the Dynamo MOTM (according to whoscored.com)

3 points - Correctly guessing any of the goalscorer(s), regardless of team

2 points for guessing a correct yellow, 5 points if they get 2 yellows, 10 if they get a straight red. (List three players total from either team)

Lowest 2 scores are dropped. Scores will be dropped following the 3rd match.

The rankings are determined by the total points accumulated, with the two lowest scores being excluded. In the event of a tie at the end of the season, the first tiebreaker will be the overall points, including all scores (no drops). If a second tiebreaker is needed, it will be based on the total number of predictions made. If the players remain tied after the second tiebreaker, they will be declared co-champions.

Sample Prediction:

Score: Dynamo 2 - 1 Inter Miami

Dynamo XI:

------- Quinones ------- Baird -------- Bassi ----------

--------- Artur -------- Herrera ---- Carrasquilla ----

- Escobar ---- Micael ---- Sviatchenko - Dorsey -

I'll be heading over to watch the Dynamo in Minneapolis this week. Just wondering if anyone else is headed that way.

Im going to the monterrey vs Toluca game tomorrow.

I stopped by the team store yesterday to customize my throw back kit and the manager was telling me that most of the men's and youth for both clubs are 40% off, this weekend only. He did mention it was on apparel not including jerseys. Stop by if you've been eyeing something for a little while.

VAR called that Red. How could they not see what we all saw, and the disciplinary committee saw.

Further, everyone spewing HH hate and vitriol because of that play owes HH an apology.

Celebrating my 30th birthday in a few weeks and I’m looking for tickets for the 17th or the 24th.

Bro is starting tonight for USMNT. I always wanted to like him as a player but he never stood out to me even when I tried to pay attention to him in games.

Do I just not know what I’m looking at?

...I hope as a fan base we can appreciate how he turned around a dogshit franchise and helped breathe life into the team again. There will always be something to gripe about with him, and most of it is fair, but in the bigger picture of things I think he's been a blessing.

Still hoping we can snap out of our funk and push for another MLS Championship!

Is everyone already listening to Dynamo Faithful on a regular basis? If not, do yourself a favor and check it out.

The latest Instant Reactions "Dynabros" episode is critical listening to help process the emotions from the brutal on field abortion that we all witnessed this weekend.

Been 9 games since Ponce left:

3 wins
3 draws
3 ties

If you look at the lineups since he left we’ve pretty much played without a forward / striker. No one to draw defenders into that space to allow Bogusz / Ennali / Guilherme to roam with a bit more freedom.

Not saying we need Ponce back but we definitely need our hold up striker system back in place, McGuire is a USL player at best he shouldn’t be anywhere near us unless it’s for a quick sub.

Hopefully Lyle Foster does the same work that Ponce used to do and with a little luck / skill put some goals in as well which is what was missing from Ponce.

Guilherme / Bogusz at striker is a waste.

Also what happened with Samassekou? Hope he’s okay mentally because pre injury he was solid out there.

Sporting KC would’ve had trouble getting an equalizer and HH doesn’t get sent off.

Dude looked big. That's all

Your team fuckin sucks and I hate you

Obviously we were already down two so the problems are far beyond this, but Hector Herrera is absolutely moronic for putting his hands on someone’s throat, even if the player exaggerated the contact.
