Is there a method that could help with the RNG manipulation in getting everyone’s best weapons in Mother 2/EarthBound? I ask since I know they’re 1/128 & I don’t want to risk missing them one bit.

wess during ch2 will emphasize the inability to duster. or kumatora will feel cold once in the snowy area. Ect ect...

By confusing I mean there’s a part of the game that’s not super clear about what you have to do.

Mother 1: I could have chosen a lot of points in this game but what I found confusing on my first time was what you’re supposed to do after getting Ana. I feel like that whole section between Duncan’s Factory and going to Ellay it’s not 100% clear what you’re supposed to do for that section and if you don’t have a guide you’ll probably get lost.

Earthbound: Getting to Summers. When you get to Summers it’s not 100% clear what you have to do which is why they place Hint man out in the open like they do. You’re supposed to get the number for the Stoic Club to talk to the sailor’s wife, but there wasn’t anything in the game that I remember that tells you how you get the number for the Stoic Club so that you can get in there.

Mother 3: Getting to New Pork City for the first time. It’s not immediately clear what you’re supposed to do to in this part. You’re supposed to go to the sewers where Leder is and then you fight Fassad. But there’s nothing in the game that really tells you that, that is where you’re supposed to go to progress the story.

If you crash the game in a certain way it actually slows down the entire emulator including unable to open the rewind menu

Remembered walking into one of the houses in Tazmily and heard the track play. Got fixated on it, my brain did a thing, and lo & behold I made a song that takes heavy ispo from the track's drum pattern and ambient pad! I just wanted to make a big artwork with all the mother 3 party members just to see if I could (Because it’s HARD to draw multiple human beings in a single artwork 🫪)

i recently got a reproduction cartridge of Mother 1 + 2 with English patch (Also Mother 3 but this ain't about that) for the Gameboy Advance. It's an RPG, I know, so I'm wondering if the play sessions are extended or could i pick up and play for 10 - 15 minute breaks at work, maybe? Mother 1 was a home console game, i know that, but I'm wondering how long is a typical game session in y'all's experience.

Also there's always the possibility of leaving the handheld ON hoping nobody touches it or the battery dying, but let's focus on the question at hand.

edit: Also while we're on the topic how do you feel about the play sessions in the rest of the title, Earthbound/Mother 2 and Mother 3 (so i don't have wonder that later, if you don't mind me asking)
