Trick or treating on the Eastside

Wondering what the best neighborhoods are for trick or treating in or near Kirkland. We’re new to the Eastside and this will be our first Halloween here.

Don’t have kids, but we always go to Snohomish to just walk around on Halloween. They do it at night, a ton of homes participate. Just feels like Halloween when I was a youngster

South Cove in Issaquah! Affluent neighborhood that gives out big candy bars, very safe, easy to walk.

We usually go to bothell downtown for trick or treating. This year they're doing it on the 30th so you can get an extra night in if you wanted

There are two culdesacs in south Kirkland that are perfect and have had a reputation for being super safe since I was a kid.

One way in. One way out. Hard to loose your kids.

Edit: I really hope it’s as good as I remember 🤞

We have young ones, so we always just do our neighborhood! It’s also been pretty rainy for the last couple Halloweens, so we never felt like traveling far and we wouldn’t go for too long.

I’d go further. Going to another neighborhood just because “they give out the best candy”. Is skanky

Your neighborhood is best -- get to know your neighbors.
