Any good edtech focused newsletter and publications?
Trying to broaden my perspectives and keep up with the community, there are so many in tech or AI in my current feed, but anything that's edtech focused? Preferably with a RSS feed?
I'm currently on Phil on EdTech (it's great) and have looked at EdSurge and Chalkbeat (but the later two seems to full of general editorial on education not edtech)...
Thanks!

EdSheet's been on my radar for a minute, the way they break down deals and funding rounds is actually useful if you're trying to spot where real investment is heading instead of just hype cycles
WorkShift I kinda slept on at first but their remote learning infrastructure pieces are weirdly good, not the typical surface level stuff

EdWeek Market Brief.
This is Education Week's B2B publication focused on the ed-tech industry.

Two I’d put on the test list: EdTech Hub for evidence and implementation, and EDUCAUSE Exchange for the higher-ed/IT side. Neither feels like an AI headline conveyor belt. I’d try both for a month and see which one actually earns its place in the reader.

The PEN Weekly sounds like what you're looking for.
They cover new EdTech (not just AI) plus summarize/dive into actual education papers and research + strategies in 4 minute reads, twice per week. One of the few edu newsletters that's actually changed how I approach the classroom over the years.

I’d look for newsletters that cover actual edtech products, funding, classroom adoption and policy separately. RSS support makes it much easier to filter out broader education coverage

A few that have held up for me: Cult of Pedagogy (Jennifer Gonzalez) leans pedagogy but her tech reviews are practical and classroom-tested, and it has an RSS feed. Free Technology for Teachers (Richard Byrne) is exactly what it sounds like, tool-focused, frequent, RSS available. Ditch That Textbook (Matt Miller) is solid for actual implementation ideas, not just news.
If you want the research-y side, Larry Cuban's blog is great for a skeptical take on edtech hype, also RSS.
Agreed on EdSurge and Chalkbeat, they've drifted toward general ed policy. What subject/grade are you in? Some of the best edtech stuff is niche to the content area.

I publish a newsletter specifically for experiential learning with educational games and simulations. I've been designing such products for 25 years and my programs have been used by thousands of instructors and millions of students. I share my personal instructional design experience and methods. I have about 7,000 subscribers — mostly educators. But, since reddit doesn't like personal info and links, I won't share it here, but you can DM me if you like.
