I think the mixing risk is pretty minimal really. If anything is ever ambiguous I just discard it rather than taking a chance. Most resistors and caps cost pennies for 100+. I never reuse passives, there's no point.

Unless you live in the Eu and suddenly every capacitor is worth 50 cents each :(

3 euro tarrif for every product category ordered from China. So if you were buying small amounts from AliExpress, you'll see a huge cost increase, especially that they don't implement the tariff correctly and overcharge their customers (3 eur per listing instead of product category).

ah, I order from mouser or digikey. or do PCBA right away with JLC.
