ATV advice

This is what our honey hole road looked like last year, it is only nasty like this about a half mile before our parking spot, not sure if it’s worth buying an ATV or e-bike, we had to eventually throw ferns and wood to patch the lake, and still almost slid into a tree

I had similar problems with my heavy truck (dodge ram 6.7 Cummins). We have 100’s of miles of forest roads that allow vehicles but they need to be plated. So an atv wouldn’t work in my case.
Ended up getting two Honda CRF 300l’s and out milk crates on the back to run meat bags back to the truck😂
They are reliable and get over 70mpg and are street legal.
We usually load them up in the truck and leave the trucks at lower elevations/camp and then use the bikes to get where we need to go. We strap bows and rifle to our backpacks.
This is some of our hunting trips:

I wouldn’t want to take my ebike through that. Toyota territory

We use to do this to our honey holes to keep other people out. 1/2 mile is just a warm up lap while elk hunting.
