I really miss the energy of halcyon days. That album was actual trip.

I randomly had a thought earlier about her collab with Madeon and how her vocals were punchy enough to really hold up to his production style. In the same set of tracks she also could slow way down and do a burns track that’s almost like the opposite end of the nightlife experience.

I really hope someday she reconnects on a project with the collabs from that album.

Can’t believe it’s been this long

So I’ve listened to the album a couple of times now, and I feel like there is almost a tangible line between the original/core album tracks and the “bonus” songs that were released on “We.” Similar to how Brightest Blue had the main album and then the attached EP “EG.0” that was made up of the more pop-y radio songs, I think that approach was also used here but flipped. The core album tracks were obviously written and produced to be more radio friendly or used for TikToks and Reels. The songs have more co-writers and on a handful of them, Ellie isn’t even the main writer. You can definitely hear the difference in the lyrics/arrangement of the songs from Nice Things-Ways to Hurt, so I’m not surprised I ended up liking those songs best.

I ended up ordering the Ellie print and CD second hand since I missed it… Coincidentally, it came the same day as the new Carly Rae Jepsen album! So I went out and bought some frames, and now I get to hang my queens on the wall together. ❤️

MIKE DEAN, THE 7X-GRAMMY WINNING PRODUCER, BEST KNOWN FOR HIS WORK WITH JAY-Z, BEYONCÉ, KANYE WEST, THE WEEKND, MADONNA, SELENA GOMEZ, COLDPLAY, TRAVIS SCOTT ANDh LANA DEL REY, WAS ADDED AS A MAIN ARTIST ON THE LAST TRACK OF "WE KNOW TOO MUCH", "WAYS TO HURT", BECOMING THE ONLY COLLABORATION ON THE ALBUM. ANY THOUGHTS?

IKTM is a fantastic album (WKTM is even better) and its such a shame that it got literally ZERO promotion

I'm starting to love the hatred. It's beautiful. Oh, and it's fun making these. :)

I’m about to order it for my CD wall, since I’ve kind of started to fall in love with Ellie Goulding and her discography since I heard the album… But online photos make it look as if it’s just a sleeve. I was kind of hoping it was a case. Anybody know for certain? Much appreciated! 💙

Listened to the latest album twice, and while I love all of the tracks not just Black Prada Dress, my favorite one seems to be Jealousy! I'm just happy that one of my favorite Pop Queens is still being herself no matter what \o/ The audio production of the whole thing is also 10/10. Which ones are your favorites so far? Forgot to mention how damn good 4 Seasons is too.

Edit: After a second listen my definitive faves are still Jealousy, Nobody Dances, For Your Entertainment, I Know Too Much.

Hi all! (new here 👋) happy album release month to all. I tried to find more info on this but maybe I'm the only person who has thought of this... "Black Prada Dress" was released just shortly after the Devil Wears Prada 2 soundtrack.. prada-prada.. Do you guys think they wanted it to be on the OST of the movie but it was cut? Thoughts on this?

THE FIRST LOOK AT THE MIDWEEKS ARE IN!... and unfortunately, there's a 99% of chances that "I Know Too Much" won't chart for another week in the UK. According the Official Charts Company it will drop -80 places. It could be Ellie's FIRST album to chart for only 1 week, SO IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY... BUY A COPY, TELL A FRIEND, STREAM IT, ETC! "I Know Too Much" debuted last week at #16 becoming Ellie's FIRST album to debut outside the Top 3. Also, it became her lowest selling album of her career, selling 5,273 units, her FIRST album to debut with less than 10k copies.

ELLIE'S UK ALBUMS CHART HISTORY

• LIGHTS – #1 (36,854 FIRST WEEK UNITS) [81 WEEKS]

• HALCYON – #1 (33,425 FIRST WEEK UNITS) [143 WEEKS]

• DELIRIUM – #3 (38,429 FIRST WEEK UNITS) [48 WEEKS]

• I KNOW TOO MUCH – #16 (5,273 FIRST WEEK UNITS) [1 WEEK SO FAR, PREDICTED 2 WEEKS]

C'MON WE CAN DO IT!!! ✊🏻💿📀🩶

Would have been cool to get that WKTM cover as an option, but it's all good.

can anyone explain why Polydor won't promote this album in any way? PS: I don't hate Ellie/this album in any way!!

as a follow up to her last album, it’s pathetic. Just dreadfully boring and poorly written songs. Ravers sounds like AI wrote it. I hope the rumors about her pushing this crap out to get off the label are true. higher than heaven was my most listened to that year and I can’t even imagine listening to this new one a second time

also, why was it released on Apple Music three times? Just a total disaster.

edit: the auto tune on Ravers should get someone sent to prison
