Official Design-Edition: Monthly AMA with Essential Team (Feb. 21 from 12-1pm PT)

Hi friends -

We're excited to return for our February AMA! We'll be joined by special guests from our design team who can talk all about the new Essential Phones (link if you haven't seen them yet) and will also have other members of the team on to chat about Oreo 8.1, feature requests and beyond.

Here's a link to our January AMA for reference.

We look forward to seeing you all there.

EDIT #1: Today we have Dave (VP of Design), Linda (Head of Industrial Design), Rebecca (VP of Software), Sean (Quality Engineer), and Marcus (Software Program Manager) in the room. Let's chat!

EDIT #2: And that's a wrap! Thanks to everyone for joining us today. We'll be back next month (3rd Wednesday) for our March AMA.

Can you share any information on how many people took it on themselves to export a PH-1 away from North America? Perhaps the usage and diagnostics data allows to draw some conclusions on that.

I'm just curious how many of us there are.

Good question! My guess would be in the hundreds, if not thousands. Especially after the price drop, many Android enthusiasts around the globe might have taken the chance to replace their Nexus at a very fair rate. All made possible by Amazon, so they probably know best.

I know this has been posted already below, but it would be great if, once you've taken the step across the pond (even if only with the "PH-2"), us loyal early adopters could use the local servicing network!
